@Telstra He did, but only after being made to resubmit his iD info again, despite having already given it and being supplied a phone. V worrying about what happened to his paperwork, with all the privacy issues around this. He's since left Telstra because of this experience.

@kitty4prz @Mage_Lufaine Sometimes Telstra/Optus/Vodafone/whichever provider actually shits the bed and their network doesn't work. Not often but occasionally.

@jriewolod @Telstra @Telstra gave my aging parents the great news they now - after 40 years as customers - have unlimited data! Yay! Except they average 5 gb and have been on a plan for 100gb. And by the way are increasing their plan fee by $29 - but you can call from a box for free! Service 😡

@jriewolod @Telstra I had a similar thing happen to me. I signed up for a RFC membership this year, telling me there was another flag on the way. I've put my complaint through. Still waiting for a refund

@jriewolod @Telstra The experience get Telstra to connect NBN to my elderly mothers premises was nothing short of appalling. It literally took months of broken promises and technician appointments that failed to turn up. Telstra is a disgrace that prioritises profits over people

@ashavedwookiee Sorry to hear you lost an aspect of the service you relied on, unfortunately cannot keep offering the same as our agreement with Telstra has ended, but the plans flagged IDD have $50 included international credit. Please call us with other concerns about the switch -Meg

@jriewolod @Telstra Hope yr aged care provider offers single room with modern facilities, fully staffed, caring, honest and skilled people, good food and perhaps real personalised care. Alas me thinks age care providers and telstra have too much in common namely the financial rip off for “service”.

@jriewolod @Telstra This is the same Telstra that kept charging us for the ADSL2 service that didn’t exist after NBN was connected. When we told them, they shut down our business account, instead of the residential one.

@jriewolod @Telstra I’d been paying for 2 years for a service I had discontinued. They said they’d only pay me half . I told them “ that’s my money , if you don’t return it to me I’ll report it as theft “ they returned the lot ‘
