@JasonClareMP How about using unsubstantiated, incorrect Sinophobic fear mongering to distract from the real reason for the Telstra blackout, like you and Barnaby Joyce did with your moronic suggestion of a link between China’s rocket test and the Telstra blackout.

@crankyanni You do understand a network the size of Australia cannot simply be turned off and rebooted ! The complexity of so many outdated and incompatible software programs interacting is very problematic ! What happened with telstra will happen again ! The whole system needs a rebuild !

@CrySlyFly @ialihasaan @Batman2242 Telstra were unwilling to structurally separate to allow the infrastructure side of the business build the new network. Telecom had plans to do fibre upgrades but got shelved when they became privatised.

@7NewsBrisbane Are @Telstra suggesting that all 3 network time servers were/are hosted in the same physical chassis? Seems fundamentally flawed? Also, do they not continually scan for vulnerabilities and end of service? @sarahinthesen8 something sounds fishy.

@LuminanceXS @clanceeinfinity This is a better move sadly cause of all bullshit you'll have to do get NFC payments and banking working you'll need to do Play Intergity is such a stupid idea because of corporation's don't want to spend money on newer servers with better security telstra I'm looking at you

@grok Telstra investigating this nations outage. The Senate estimates enquiry, is there a time frame for results in these investigations and enquiries. Has Telstra has been outsourceing work to under qualified Off shore workers which has caused the outage.

@FranMooMoo This is clearly far more important than the Telstra network being down for hours. Or anything else that might improve Australia.
