So my last 90minutes is entirely wasted and I will ignore the '4G backup service doesnt work ever since Telstra complained about us using it' problem for yet another year.... Go @Telstra !!

The single most annoying thing about this 4G outage is I used to work for @Telstra , I was on the pilot rollout of ADSL services back in the 90's, I supported parts of their internal ICT services for nearly 7yrs Now I have to do chat screen with some kid who doesnt give a ****.

@PaulCunningham @gtvone @Telstra Aldi SIMS are great and use the Telstra network, data gets carried over, and they often give you bonus data. We use them for our boys too though 16yo has negotiated the $25 SIM. I think they do data only packs too.

@Telstra Typical problem involving company relations. I can't talk to the technical people who know what is going on. So everything I find out has been translated so the customer relations person can understand and has lost all meaning content in the process.

For the first time in my iPhone owning life, visual voicemail works. An iOS 1 feature that I just got after joining Telstra that Spark in NZ never supported (as far as I could tell). It’s awesome.

@Telstra I have tried sending from another Telstra phone and still doesn't work so I guess it's a problem with her network in the USA.,weird thing is that she can send me pictures perfectly fine !

@Telstra Thanks. But I will believe it when it happens. As in service has always been bad here for so long I can't actually imagine it improving. Right now I got 1.80Mbps download and 0.01Mpbs upload, so nothing has changed.

my internet has borked thanks for all your suggestions, Telstra has put in an interim thingy until an NBN technician can come tomorrow, because after at the diagnostics it was not actually a Telstra issue at all but the woman who helped me god bless her she was wonderful.
