@Ballyurra When I had this problem, it was because the replacers of the telephone pole in my neighbour's backyard had rewired my connection by twisting bare wires back together with their fingers - left exposed with no wrapping or shielding. Telstra fixed it for free.

4 months no landline service Medical Priority Acct. Tech came today-job will take weeks He ordered an interim service via courier👍🏼 Hours later got a msg from another Telstra dept saying if I "really want" an interim service call the 13 No 🐂💩mate! #35185295 Do yr job @Telstra

@jkalbrechtsen @Telstra Easy to fix Janet , simply dont pay your Bill , log on to Telstra have a complaint section , you can fill out on line , give them a mouthfull , threaten the Telecommunications Ombudsman , you will be surprised by how quickly you are sorted ! Give it a try , worked for me

@KateKak Here at Sunbury (40km out) it’s ordinary service if you’re not in the newest area. When first I complained a decade ago, Telstra told me “by law we only have to give you a twisted pair of copper wires!” …Institutional lack of care.

@Telstra any chance we can have an @NBN_Australia service that works and is reliable?? So sick of not having internet but still paying an overpriced fee for a service that is more unreliable than @GeelongCats

@SandyRendel @Ballyurra We’ve been lucky the last 3 places we lived were FTTP and then FTTC x 2. Never an issue and 95-100Mb most times on. Telstra 50/20 plan with a Telstra boost service.

@Telstra shocking service, 4 days still no call back. Agents lie, hang up and generally rude. Incredulous to think this is how you treat customer. Explains why complaints are at 70%
