@deniseshrivell Ask anyone in IT about it (the mixed technology solution & keeping Telstra's rusted cables) and how that'd end up they'd all say the same thing - absolute bin fire. Solution was always going to be fibre. Speed of light & you can update it by replacing box on each side of cable.

Have to switch to @Telstra due to relocation after years of avoidance. Nothing has changed - WORST user experience possible. Activate SIM online>sorry "invalid details">Try to restart - can't - "activation underway". No customer support on weekends.

@RoadknightThe At one time, probably around 2009, we actually owned some Telstra shares. After we came back to Australia and I had dealings with them, I sold immediately. One of the worst customer experiences ever. But at least they’re consistent.

@RoadknightThe I once managed a group with a large Telstra account and for an extra fee was guaranteed a phone number that was 'within Australia' if I needed the service dept. Spent 33 minutes on hold to their complaints dept to complain about being on hold for 27 mins to their service dept.

@Telstra out internet has been out for 6 hours, website says there is no outage. Done all the trouble shooting. I have work to today I need it to be fixed 6 hours ago.
