@Telstra My internet(phone 4G and dongle) has been extremely slow. I checked online and there isn’t any known outages. I also tried making an international call and the connection was BAD.

UPDATE: got onto someone, who didn’t understand what I was trying to say (mum and dad are still connected to a literal landline that doesn’t require power). The lady hung up after 38 minutes because she obviously didn’t know how to help. @Telstra improve your customer service!

@AlanBaxter @Telstra it is a reasonable response compared to @lufthansa whose reps found it totally cool that my flight refund, approved in SEPTEMBER, is STILL not in my hands. They were nice enough to provide an email address for customer relations where I could write to ... [surprise: no phone #]

@Telstra @edenjlee I'm a Telstra customer. Some of my worksites use Aussiebroadband, and that company seems to have no trouble providing staff via phone for technical support. How is it that the giant that is Telstra isn't able to do the same? Makes me want to leave despite 20 years with Bigpond
