@JulianBurnside @noplaceforsheep I am surprised you found a phone number to ring. They prefer you use the app. Which you need wifi to access. Apparently no one at telstra can understand the problem with this comms methodology.

@JulianBurnside I then rang @Telstra to terminate my service with them and the person on the other end of the phone said, well seeing as though you now have the antenna installed why don't you just sign back up with us? You can guess my reply.

@DrKrissyH @JulianBurnside I had a similar experience. Was told house was not connected and never had been. I did offer to send a picture of the Telstra lead-in box, complete with logo, on the outside of house … but instead i had to wait for a technician to visit some days later

"Telstra upgrading mobile network... commencing >21/06/2021<. Your mobile service may be impacted at various times during this period." - like, apparently, the 19th and 20th!! Have to leave home to get internet. Thanks @telstra, was just trying to apply for jobs. Nice work.

@Telstra - we had notification a local outage was starting Monday 21st, but as we have no internet as of this am, its very clearly started today. I had this weekend to apy for a job, now I can't get to the info without the internet. What have you got to say about this?
