@dotzbornak1979 @slamup Do it!! After 5 years with Optus I swapped to Aldi, and I’m now saving a ton.. caught up in the hack scandal sadly but at least Aldi are cheaper and better network since it’s Telstra.

@shinyspell Belong is $35 a month for 40gb and until tomorrow they're doing double data for a yr! That's 80gb a month + it rolls over and uses telstra network !

@joshgnosis Exetel switched from Optus to Telstra's network about a year ago. I had to provide my license number again when activating the new SIM, so presumably they hadn't held on to that data from when I originally signed up. Hopefully they were validating ID with gov rather than Optus.

@hughriminton I left them years ago bc of bad comms. Same with Telstra. That was in normal times. Your new service provider will do the migration process for you and pro rata bills or credits will be issued. I recommend either EXETEL or AUSSIE BROADBAND, both have heaps better customer service
