@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Whatever happened to manual transactions that they used to do when eftpos machines first came in? When things went down you would get out a machine, run the card through, add the details and get the customer to sign, send it to the bank. We rely on technology too much.

@Telstra I’m sorry but am dismayed that there is not a ready to go temporary fix that can be parachuted into a disaster area to bridge this period. It’s been a week with no communication right when it’s needed the most. This is a call to be better prepared.

@Cammos78 Ours was good out here until @Telstra "upgrade" then it went to **** & it's ongoing. No signal for a simple phone call which isn't ideal in country Australia. They tell us they've identified the problem & it was to be fixed in a few days.......reckon hell may freeze over first.

@Telstra l received a txt message from telstra saying they have identified an issue with our internet and to contact them. Is this legit?

@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Cannot believe how bad it’s going. They wanted a cashless society. So how do these people get cash to pay for basic needs in a disaster. What the actual Fark!!!!

@TwitterAU That's if you have internet/mobile coverage. Last night we had heavy rain on the NSW south coast with a blackout. Telstra internet out, Vodafone mobile out. Telstra mobile just about worked.

@JustJenKing @woolworths @Telstra Why isn't the government providing emergency food supplies to homeless flood victims who have lost everything?
