@tanya_plibersek @craigreucassel I live in Glebe, and recently I was forced to switch over to the NBN. Telstra cut off my usual service, and it took OVER A MONTH for them to connect me to the NBN. That was over a month without internet, and I live near the CBD of Sydney. Absolutely unacceptable.

Trying to actually purchase or use a @Telstra service is the worst. Went to a Telstra store, they sent me to coles. Wouldn't even talk to me. Activation is a joke, 24x7 chat sits there as "Agent Typing" for hours and wouldn't let me do anything for business use. The worst.

@GailClifford7 @Peter90666913 @NewcastleGardia So 2007 they had fttn plan but didn't go ahead. 2009 decided to bypass the copper network. In 2010 they issued tender docs. Network design began 2011 following some trial fttp sites. Construction also started in 2011. Delays from Telstra pushed the schedule out. Stopped in 2013

@raahbeckah yeah that's a bad sign isn't it? haha. Has NBN been built in your area? I had a free swap over with Telstra once construction in my patch last year (I'm really hoping this isn't an NBN speed you've got haha)

20 days waiting for @telstra to provision my phone. Can’t do COVID checking. Can’t get bank confirmation SMSs. Can’t call anyone. Can’t leave the house in case @telstra case manager calls (which has never happened). @telstra you are making my life unsafe and ****. #auspol

@Telstra internet has been switched to the 4G backup due to an outage for a few days. Repairman comes Monday but the backup keeps going out and back on every few minutes or seconds. The front light on the Telstra modem is either blue or Orange every time it goes out...
