@fishbonker67 Oh ok. I’m in Australia and ours is Telstra. Notice Delta on the side? This is the variant locking us down.

  • theKashey Anton Korzunov (@theKashey) reported

@Telstra What about addressing only the "Speed boost" part? I was a network engineer one upon a time. I understand how this works. We all know limits of the current infrastructure, especially NBN. Are some extra addons required to aid this crude reality?

  • rrogerramjet Yam, defo Yam. (@rrogerramjet) reported

@telstra nbn support widget asked me to powercycle my modem... 30 seconds after I JUST TOLD HIM ID JUST DONE THAT. These people are fkn hopeless.

  • TheNehad CFC - Champions of Europe (@TheNehad) reported

@natecochrane @Telstra Just hope they don’t give you a bogus excuse (can’t “verify” the address - where they been sending bills to for the last 20 years) and hang up.

  • rrogerramjet Yam, defo Yam. (@rrogerramjet) reported

Its been over 1 hour and the 'Expert' @telstra support widget has made me powercycle twice and done a port reset (hard reboot at thwir end) Nothing. The above takes 10mins. Max. Ive been online with this idiot for 1hr and 15mins.

  • JohnDex02430935 John Dexter (@JohnDex02430935) reported

@SkyNewsAust @andy_penn Andy Penn should concentrate on a phone call that doesn’t drop out.... apparently they achieved it regularly last century. ....and Telstra is to customer service what Dan Andrews was to safe quarantining.

  • natecochrane 𝙽𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚘𝚌𝚑𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚎 (@natecochrane) reported

@TheNehad @Telstra I've had that in a previous life. T: "Hmm, I can't see your name in our customer database. Are you sure you're a customer?" Me: "What if I stop paying my bill, would that seal it for you?" T: "<beat> Oh, no, you can't do that ..."

  • QuestEvrythng Question Everything (@QuestEvrythng) reported

@Telstra Why is dealing with you always worse than having teeth pulled? "No promise now can make you trust us less we can act on it" says your customer service. Having staff who make sense and actually know what they are doing would be a good start!
