@TopherField However, starlink is still ground linked through Telstra. Switch off Telstra & starlink goes down too.

@Telstra how disgusting, your handling of a legitimate complaint after the outage. Shame on you. With all of your profits you deny compensation for a service that still is t working.

Still sans @NBN_Australia They came out Monday, identified the issue & refused to fix it. Told them that I was over them & that I'll be signing up with @Starlink Looking forward to receiving my kit from Starlink soon. Hotspotting with my @Telstra mobile is 1/2 speed of a snail. Painful much. Going crazy. Don't need this stress.

JUST IN: $SHAZ just hired the executive who ran Telstra Enterprise as its new COO. David Burns: 35+ years across Telstra and IBM, most recently leading Telstra's entire Australian B2B and international portfolio. His mandate, per the release: own the journey "from customer order to live operational capacity". Co-founder Andrew Leece moves to a dedicated Strategic Partnerships role, founder-level care for the biggest relationships. Read the pattern, not just the hire: new CFO in July. New Chief Legal Officer in July. Now a heavyweight COO in August. Fourth senior addition in five weeks. A company with $8.8B in contracts and 212MW to deliver isn't hiring to SELL anymore. It's hiring to DELIVER. The bottleneck moved, and management is staffing the bottleneck. The honest line: executive hires are capacity, not revenue. The proof stays where it always was: deployments accepted, escrows released, rent flowing. But you don't poach the Telstra Enterprise boss to run a small book. I'm long $SHAZ. NFA. DYOR.

@KobieThatcher @Ann19851873 Agree ๐Ÿ’ฏ Also with the recent Telstra outage and formed Optus outage. Both affecting Eftpos networks and ATMโ€™s. Cash is king for many reasons including privacy. Do not let cash die out.

Telstra chief executive Vicki Brady took home $6.8 million last year โ€“ an 11 per cent increase, despite a fall in revenue at Australiaโ€™s largest telecommunications company in the year leading up to its disastrous nationwide outage last month. (AFR)
