Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • sharanjit Sharanjit Paddam (@sharanjit) reported

@lukeweston @Telstra Only issue is that TIO wants to know what complaints department have said when you make a complaint. So I may have to wait the 21 Days.

  • ktibus KayRay (@ktibus) reported

@sharanjit @Telstra Can't see why they would refuse: you are already a customer, you've provided 3 forms of ID, so met the 100 point check thing. There is no logical reason to do anything other than send the phone and close the case file. Easier to get a housing loan than a phone it seems.

  • codesoda Chris Raethke (@codesoda) reported

@garrows @Telstra If you sign up to any sms service that allows alpha sending address you can do it. Comes down to whether the receiving network will trust/accept it. This is why they typically require a verification for mobile numbers.

  • Mithim_ Mithim (@Mithim_) reported

@Telstra I appreciate you responding to my ranting post Ash. From what I can see from the Help section of the Telstra site, I can't switch to a prepaid plan due to the device repayment cost. It's roughly $600 right now and I can't afford that as a one off payment. Having no option (1/2)

  • sharanjit Sharanjit Paddam (@sharanjit) reported

@ktibus @lukeweston @Telstra Yes. And why they’ve locked the order so no one else can fix it until they’ve got their story straight for ACMA.

  • sharanjit Sharanjit Paddam (@sharanjit) reported

@Telstra It appears I forgot to actually make a complaint when I phoned Telstra Complaints and complained. Perhaps I thought if I followed TCG’s instructions and went to a store and provided them with three forms of ID then I’d get my phone? 56/🧵

  • Alienwarfare100 Alienwarfare (WILL) (@Alienwarfare100) reported

i ******* swear @Telstra support has no idea about anything they sell or anything as they just ****** up yet again gg Telstra DONT EVEN READ WHAT THE ISSUE IS JUST GET YOU SPEND MONEY YOU DONT HAVE

  • lukeweston Luke Weston (@lukeweston) reported

@sharanjit @Telstra Wait a day for them to show their progress on resolution, then contact the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. When you call Telstra explain you are working with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman to get this resolved. When they contact you on Twitter, mention TIO case.

  • viralhume Viralkumar patel (@viralhume) reported

@Telstra Support guys gave me only these case numbers. I am currently in talking with tech support. I asked him to provide case numbers but he will provide it at the end of our conversation.

  • ktibus KayRay (@ktibus) reported

@sharanjit @lukeweston @Telstra So someone in Telstra Control Group had an "Oh, ****" moment. This would explain the panicked yelling.
