@fictillius I haven’t been since 2019 and my Telstra plan had roaming included back then so was no brainer to use it. Service was crap but.

@IsabelBromfield Had nothing to do w/ Telstra. The stupid WiFi apartment I booked. Telstra sorted me out w/ some Mobile Broadband.

@expectproblems I went from telstra to Aussie Broadband, the difference in service and support is night and day. I'll never go back. Even though ABB switched to Optus I'm very happy. I have all my IT through them now, home and office.

@Telstra Thanks for replying. There is no adequate answer until the problem is resolved. Which it will be. My other family member now dealing with this will get it sorted where I & my sister have failed. Of that I have no doubt. Telstra should be sued for ongoing grief, stress & trauma.

@expectproblems It felt weird because it's only prepaid but a while back I just bought a year of service from Boost because it was so cheap + it uses Telstra's network (and I just don't use that much data)

@GeorgeMonbiot I had similar problems with my TELSTRA. A small town Telstra shop sold my 90 year old mother multiple mobile phones, each with a new contract. The Ombudsman eventually sorted it out, but TELSTRA maintained it was not their problem. Their stance was it was the franchise outlet.

@rohan_p I admit my only reticence is that I get 5G with my current Telstra plan but… damn, I just never really noticed the difference? But part of my tech gadget nerd self wants to know it’s there for NO reason.

@Telstra @mcquillanator Thanks for your concern Telstra (the same can’t be said for @RogersHelps who hasn’t answered my tweet from earlier today). My service is working quite well in Canada which sadly can’t be said for my Rogers domestic service.
