@MagazineAmplify Yup. The only reason we all still get those scam calls from "Telstra" and "Nicole from the NBN" is because they work. They might sound stupid to us, but, enough people fall for them for it to be worth it, so they keep going

Had a power outage and because the anti 5G era have destroyed the local Telstra tower, had to leave town to report it. Thanks anti5gers

@ItsBouquet @BelindaJones68 But following that @TheGoodGuysAU proceeded to ask phone number for previous custom. Pretty normal. But the salesperson said your with Telstra we can offer you a better deal. Poor form good guys don’t use our records for promotion it’s sleazy and tacky.

  • jackie_french_ Jackie French (@jackie_french_) reported

@rizvie @Telstra Sadly posting on social media may not fix the problem either. Telstra no longer has the staff nor the capacity or willingness to fix many problems, nor the managerial efficiency to maximise what they have.

  • petewnr Peter Worthy (@petewnr) reported

@skyedoherty @Telstra That’s exactly the issue. We have had many chats with people online but still kept getting text messages where clearly they had not checked the history.

  • rizvie Riz Jaimon (@rizvie) reported

2+ weeks, 337 chat support messages, a combined 4.5 hours on the phone for my 80 year-old mum to be able to place outgoing calls. Is posting on social media the only way @Telstra will fix this problem?

  • petewnr Peter Worthy (@petewnr) reported

.@Telstra I have spent hours on chat trying to resolve the issue along with calls to the courier company (you told *US* to do that). And even drove to our old address (you also told *US* to do that). Now we have to pay for a replacement modem due to an issue with your records.

  • CrimThis cwimmy (@CrimThis) reported

@Telstra I’d rather not blast my postcode/suburb on the internet for the entire world to see. But I reached out to your customer support and have been told I’d have to wait a WEEK to get someone to come and plug my router in before I’ll have service. when I could do it myself in 2 minutes

@barobertson111 Telstra tries to capitalise on their FTTN boondoggle and battery technology was a part of that problem don't be fooled it's $80m a year in fossilfuel emissions we don't need to have FTTP is the answer
