@roseannebyrne @shamathahaven @Telstra I had so much trouble with overseas call centres since the pandemic started because of the lack of understanding of Australian consumer rights. One was with a credit card, and the guy was seriously unhinged that I wanted to close my account. He probably thought he'd lose his job.

@Telstra Telstra TV. You must have known the signal was inadequate when you sold us this equipment. We can see the tower from our backyard. We’re on a hill. There are no disruptions to receiving the signal. It’s just a **** signal. Can’t even use your set box.

@Telstra 1. Telstra App tells me to call re troubleshooting steps on a previously reported fault. 2. On first call, after waiting in queue, just get told to hang up and call again (?!) 3. On second call, am promised a call back, call back comes but then auto hangs up on me. WTF?

@bendechrai @Telstra The larger machine has made an art-form of hiding behind women and minorities as a smokescreen for customer abuse for 20 years. I’ve stopped debating the ethics of confronting supply vs demand, and decided to ask the question of both. Not because it’s fair, but because it works.

@Telstra I’m dealing with the same problem constantly. No answers. Seems you’ve sold my elderly father a set box that doesn’t work with your too weak signal. You make people’s lives a misery.

@Telstra Hey I would like help, I've been trying to activate all day and the website and app keeps crashing, it takes me to the last step of activation and then the whole thing shuts down, have to start all over again, very frustrating. I tried "message us" function and no good

@bendechrai @Telstra Plus I don’t believe from an ethical standpoint that it’s ever wrong to ask a human being to review a behaviour that is fundamentally unethical, even if it was mandated by a bully boss. The opportunity to reflect on the ethics of their postilion may help them begin to heal.
