@cyberpunkdingo Yes, Telstra as you mentioned did a signed deal with Infosys. 600 jobs gone, all local IT contracting staff were retrenched. Then they use some onshore workers to run the service but the workers are mainly offshore. NAB also partnered with Accenture this failed miserably.

I think Telstra is having relationship issues with NBN which is delaying my divorce with Telstra 😤

@Telstra, how about you stop sending pointless notifications at 5am before I lodge a formal complaint to the TIO for disturbing my peace and quiet enjoyment. Like sleep. Morons.

@WSWanderingEels @ardmorelad Yep Aus govt also own the NBN network who mainly use the Telstra network, amongst other smaller players. Everyone gets a drink

Regional reality check: Telstra = service. Optus = maybe. Vodafone = forget it. If only one network works outside the cities, that’s not a market — that’s a monopoly.

@the_LoungeFly @Telstra You have to go through the ombudsman to get an Australian staff member, someone with access to your records apparently or can fix anything. The call centers are just to keep you preoccupied long enough that you get sick of it and go away.
