Tried Telstra mobile again and useless. I can see the transmission towers from my upstairs! Problem is they focus up and out so I'm in a shadow. Optus drops out still but far less. Shouldn't this problem have been fixed by now given how long we've had mobiles?

  • cherrieflea Cherrie Hughes (@cherrieflea) reported

@Telstra letting us down again - warranty issue with a phone and no-one can even speak to us about it this week unless I want to waste working hours to sit around in a shopping centre. Not to get it fixed. To talk about maybe sending it away to get repaired or replaced.

  • expectproblems Elissa (@expectproblems) reported

@rohan_p I admit my only reticence is that I get 5G with my current Telstra plan but… damn, I just never really noticed the difference? But part of my tech gadget nerd self wants to know it’s there for NO reason.

  • aronjo5 Aron Josefsberg (@aronjo5) reported

@Telstra no there's been plenty of discussion on various forums. Telstra is unwilling to allow the app. I'd like to submit a complaint and I'd love to hear a valid reason why this is

@worst_pm @lynlinking Telstra, Please cancel my account, as of 14/7/22 have a new cheaper carrier.

  • camulust Kyamī (@camulust) reported

@expectproblems ALDI Mobile still offers the same plan and conditions though - $15 for 3GB, 30 day month, (Not this 28 day **** others have), and unlimited data rollover, Telstra reseller. If you really use almost no data, 3GB should be sufficient. Otherwise you're probably looking at $25.

  • rohan_p Rohan Pearce (@rohan_p) reported

@expectproblems This can be the issue with most Telstra resellers: "All Telstra Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) run on the Telstra wholesale network with the exception of Boost Mobile. While Telstra’s full network reaches 99.5% of the population the wholesale version covers 98.8%."

  • NorthexOCE Northex (@NorthexOCE) reported

@Telstra what excuse will you give me for my internet being **** for the last 12 months with absolutely **** all done about it?

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My sister's husband died in 2015. For 7 years she's been trying to shut down her husband's @Telstra account. On numerous occasions she's been reassured that it's been resolved. Every time she gets another threatening letter her grief & loss is multiplied. This is corporate abuse.

@Telstra on the phone to telstra support they think account looks ok. They are helping me file an internal scam report after doing some checks to be sure.
