@bogues2zoners Similar issue with Hone Internet - upgraded service only available to new customers not exisiting. We, along with a good number of the village, all moved to Optus. We get better service with them off the same tower that is in the village that Telstra won’t address but the funny

Restore from iCloud backup worked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, looks like no-one told @telstra that Apple was doing cool **** with eSIMs this year. Or they were told and archived the email. The latter seems more likely.

@Optus Been doing that for 2 days. I've been in contact during the brief periods my internet works to be told that there's maintenance going on. This was after I'd rec'd a message saying the problem had been fix. I give up. This is a regular occurrence with Optus. Telstra looks good.

@ZSRenn @PRGuy17 @raywilton4 Not at all. Selling those was no less stupid than the Howard Govs sale of Telstra, medibank etc.

@Telstra I was communicating with one of the @Telstra team on Friday. No help whatsoever. I’ve wasted over four hours on you guys so far with zero resolution. If Telstra didn’t have a stranglehold on mobile services I would get out immediately.. so over your shocking customer service…

@Telstra It was more orange the first time this problem happened. Then did these apparent "improvements" in the area and it turned red instead. It was green for about 2 days during the fix then straight to red and now I just have constant high ping online. Awful.

They are expensive, but they don't seem to have VoLTE support on Telstra, so might not be able to do voice calls after mid-2024. Apparently they do work on other networks.

Hello @Telstra on 16/9/22 I cancelled my home broadband/landline but retained my mobile number with specific instructions NOT to cancel my bigpond email account which @Telstra then deleted within 2 hours of the action. I am still waiting for the email to be re-activated. W H Y?
