    Regional reality check: Telstra = service. Optus = maybe. Vodafone = forget it. If only one network works outside the cities, that’s not a market — that’s a monopoly.

    @NicFromOz They use Telstra wholesale network, coverage shouldn’t change from what you have now, 4G, no 5G, I have used them, changed to Superloop though, tied in with NBN plan for bundle discount.

    @Prowerock1 @VoteLewko @Starlink I myself ended up with a Telstra 5G modem also. It just shows that NBN was not the way to go. Even back when they decided to go with NBN it was obvious it was dated technology and for Australia it has never delivered the service it needs.

    @VoteLewko @S_A_Bridgestone @Starlink Telstra signal on east coast usually OK - WA in the bush you have to ve near a "community" or a mine site. 🙄

    ngl @Starlink is a complete game changer for australia and remote communities all over the world telstra at the very least deserves this disruption, it is their just deserts for lobbying to hamstring australia's national broadband network (what do you think, @MrKRudd?)

    @MickamiousG @Starlink Does having 3 units get you a higher tier of support though? I'd get support this efficient through telstra chat as a gold customer. Spend something like $300 a month.

    Why doesn’t service stay? The @Telstra network is crazy. Why can’t it stay the same. Why does it drop off for no reason? If it’s broadcasting a band 3 signal then why does it just stop? Does the tower run out of power or something?
