@ElenaOanaMarti1 @Telstra It was probably an Indian scammer, did they sound Indian? (If yes it was a scam). These people are criminals who are trying to get access to your bank account. Tell them off! And then hang up. But also telecom is the worst company in 🇦🇺 js

@bymysidebritsau Just be careful with the switch - MVNOs like Aldi only use "parts of the Telstra network" which could mean you get less coverage than actual Telstra especially in regional areas.

Boy, am I going to glad to extract myself from Telstra. Feel like I’ve had to project manage a team of 50 over 10 days to complete a simple account closure. So bad it’s almost amusing.

@WoodLeonie @Telstra Thanks Leonie. I would have done this but I've got about 100 @AusChamber members to call. I am lucky that we have such strong support here on the birdsite – they connected me with the media contact and I've been able to speak to him about the situation.

@Telstra maybe Telstra, if you employed customer support in Australia, you wouldn’t have issues with long wait times and larger than expected call volumes due to Covid. Still trying to get my issue fixed. Going round in circles.

Hey everyone, unfortunately no improvements with my internet. Apparently the outage is resolved in my area but there’s nothing fixed on my end. Trying to get in touch with Telstra is a nightmare but I’ll keep you updated and give a heads up when we can finish it all off 🙏
