@wheredidgogogo @luvmygoose Nah, ALDI uses the lesser Telstra *wholesale* network. Boost is the only budget MVNO that has access to the full Telstra spectrum. How long and securely they store D/L and Medicare numbers (which I had to divulge for my recent port) is of course anyone’s guess.

@RichardKGrump @TPG_Telecom I dropped Telstra after a year of being mucked about with overcharging and dead modems and took my phone NBN internet and electricity to AGL. Outstanding service since then. And $60/month cheaper.

Hey @Telstra! Looking forward to my adsl being back at midnight...only 10 days with crap internet and no explanations and no-one reading my notes so that every time I rang I started from the beginning with my story...not good enough.

@joshgnosis Exetel switched from Optus to Telstra's network about a year ago. I had to provide my license number again when activating the new SIM, so presumably they hadn't held on to that data from when I originally signed up. Hopefully they were validating ID with gov rather than Optus.

Find it funny that I brought the same Telstra modem that I originally have so now I have 2 of them but I made the 2nd one a access point and now Telstra ain’t to bad

@Telstra Not a service fault but Telstra cutting off my internet before I cancelled. I’ll be in touch for my refund. Really ****** service considering I’m fully paid up. 😡
