The irony. Telstra, Australia's leading phone company, can't call customers when they request support. Customer service is dead.

  • CatgirlFingies 🐱 The Ultimate Catgirl 🐱 (@CatgirlFingies) reported

Telstra sure love making it hard to do name change huh. Even though they have a form that lets you do everything online. Its been a while month since submitting it but yet they say it'd only be 2-3 day wait. And the online support just says "have you gone inside a store"???

Hey @Telstra what's currently going on with services on Brisbane's southside? Have had to use my 5G Hotspot for the last hour or two for both Home internet and mobile services. Unable to work from home nor go Live on streaming services due to the poor connections.

  • hmoffatt Hamish Moffatt (@hmoffatt) reported

@Telstra Yes, great signal strength but poor data speeds.

@Telstra I dont have an income due to being disabled. I have a paltry monthly $15/3Gb plan for my mobile that I've had to top up twice since the outage. I cant rely on the signal being strong enough to speak with my family overseas. 1/2

@Telstra Hi, I had continual connection loss and re-connection for about an hour and then no problem since. This was on Wednesday at around 10:15am.

  • glenn2145 Glenn Schryver (@glenn2145) reported

@KerriSackville @Telstra I am an ex-Telstra customer for good reason. Although right now, I am even less happy with my new provider!

Please, do not give to these so-called charities, they don’t help poor people. Find a person or a few people - and help them directly. Btw, @Telstra has stopped providing charities with Telstra vouchers for the poor to help with phone bills: how disgusting is that?

  • theMickMorris Michael Morris (he/him) (@theMickMorris) reported

@Telstra Appallingly… no follow up from phone call and now having to wait until Monday for a technician (not to mention the fancy 4G “back up” router did not switch over NBN to Signal, apparently due to SIM failure .. it would be a comedy of errors, but it’s not funny.

@telstra Years ago I reported probs with data at Flinders St station in Melb during peak hour; the person who replied suggested the train was acting as a faraday cage. Thought I’d check in with a reminder that the problem still exists, including in the open air + on a new device.
