Best play of the day in the #aflgf so far has to be the Telstra ad during the break, highlighting how safe their network is…

wow @Internode is sooooo not what it used to be. Since when have your phone support services been offshore? Just had a lady trying to convince me to switch my mobile (during an enquiry about my NBN) by telling me Internode is 'merging' with @Telstra.

@Brodhe Terrible. But I am still leaving Telstra for them. This could happen to any company in our online world of less privacy and security. The price for the internet.

@nineislands Belong is Telstra's budget arm. Use the Telstra network, much lower prices. All online, very straightforward process.

@oldgreynurse @nineislands Rural also, when my reception deteriorated Optus, who I'd been with forever, just told me to go elsewhere. No support. Went with Aldi ( Telstra n'work ) haven't looked back. Cheaper too.

@Telstra Thank you. I didn’t know that. It’s only until I can get into one of your shops (have to find a street side one & not one in a large shopping centre as I have mobility issues) to change it to my existing number which is so old it is a large SIM card and new one is a micro.

@nineislands Aldi and Woolworths have good prepaid rates and use Telstra towers so coverage is good. You can join Woolies online if there’s no store near you, possibly same with Aldi. I’m with iiNet - good customer service but poor coverage since they went with Vodafone.

I told her that if @Internode is merging with @Telstra, I consider my contract voided. I will not be a Telstra customer ever. She's now trying to sell me a new modem, when I don't need a new modem. FFS.

@Telstra i'm really stuck and need some help. I have an iPhone 8 that's locked to the Telstra network. It was a gift from a friend. I need to contact Telstra to unlock it for me but it seems like only your customers can message you. How can we fix this? Please help.
