@joneaves @bookshopaddict Oh yeah. My family have been Telstra customers for years and every single time we speak to someone offshore something goes wrong. Onshore customer service are at least a little better at understanding customer frustrations (even if they aren't much better at solving problems)

I got to sometime fix my credentials before I can switch over to the data plan. Because Telstra had trouble registering my ID with the middle name with only a letter initial. I'll fix that soon & I'll try again to get onto the plan.

@natasha_yann Bloody hell! I always go through my provider and I know Telstra gets a lot of bad press but they’ve solved all my problems with no fuss whatsoever !

@bendechrai @Telstra Plus I don’t believe from an ethical standpoint that it’s ever wrong to ask a human being to review a behaviour that is fundamentally unethical, even if it was mandated by a bully boss. The opportunity to reflect on the ethics of their postilion may help them begin to heal.

@Telstra Connected yes but its the little noisy boxes we really need to have working and thats the problem and why we are so mad. They dont do call outs via phone so if those boxes arent working we have trouble. Yes they can call us but there are a lot of calls to make to everyone who

  • Globex7Mark Action Slacks (@Globex7Mark) reported

@RandaltsRandal Telstra will be late, there will be a charge and the tech will berate the previous techs work, the weather, the exchange. When I get these calls I usually tell them they've called a railway signal box. " Hang on a train is coming I've got to go and change the points" Puts jug on

@mattjpwns Tell me there was a time you worked with Telstra Wholesale without telling me there was a time... "FEE FOR SERVICE"

  • BrownSquirrel BrownSquirrel (@BrownSquirrel) reported

@Telstra Well they better move it because if anyone dies because of it its you people who will pay because we can't be contacted to go and help them

  • OgilvyTim Tim Ogilvy (@OgilvyTim) reported

@bendechrai @Telstra I have no faith in Telstra’s leadership to create change, after 20 years of detailed and compassionate feedback. At this point I believe it is ethical to ask staff to consider the ways they are complicit in customer abuse. It may be the only vector to truly demand change.

  • BrownSquirrel BrownSquirrel (@BrownSquirrel) reported

@Telstra I have emergency service workers on call 24/7 in my family - we can't wait until 10am tomorrow morning! What are we supposed to do?
