@danieldibswe I believe the “buy a very expensive premium service.” Is exactly what you suggested A bgp feed “Separating domestic vs international would solve this.” You can buy it from various isp’s including China telecom, or pccw or Telstra as examples. 10x the $$

@Telstra I don't know if it’s an @NBN_Australia cable because I'm a journalist not an expert on internet connections. @YVWater is doing some digging to fix a busted water line, so I can't just walk into their job site.

@SamKSS @Peter_Fitz Given how the pandemic has highlighted and exacerbated real problems in supply chains, I think this is far less likely than ever. Indeed, some companies are bringing outsourced jobs back, eg Telstra.
