To the media hyperventilating about the "Telstra data breach" right now, it's a list of work emails, not personal or identity information. The worst someone can do with that information is ... email you. Telstra has a standard nomenclature for emails anyway, you can guess them!

@ArnoldCountry @Telstra Breaches happen regardless of WFH or when in an office. This is what Pentesting is for and proper procedures are made to prevent more issues. What matters the most is how a company responds to reports and bug bounties sent in to them as they are found.

Hey @acccgovau - I've been calling @Telstra due to charges that they are trying to make everymonth for 5 months after I cancelled my account, everytime they credit the charges and confirm that I no longer have their service - it feels like a sneaky $29 charge that thry wanna make

Former Optus customer. Haven't been notified, haven't been a customer in over 10 years, probably ok. Former Telstra employee. Their rewards program provider got hacked. Names and Telstra email addresses leaked. Current Tangerine customer. Their chatbot provider got done.

@droverdriver61 No! Telstra saying to do this and that with App which I don’t have because of safety issues. Been scammed once for $10,000 with Telstra leaving a window open while transferring information from old to new phone

.@NBN_Australia Why can people not speak to you! My provider @Telstra tells me the issue is with nbn, you are looking into it and will get in contact with me. You need to look at my service and no one has contacted me for THREE DAYS. Are you going to compensate me for lost work?

@telstra why should I pay my bill if you are NOT providing any internet service. No wonder Starlink will make a fortune!
