    @Telstra A technician was promised between 10AM and 2PM today, 4 January. After having no service for 12 days, a missed appointment on 29 December, a Telstra complaint and a TIO complaint (in progress), I certainly hope so. Please confirm I’m not waiting (again) for no reason.

    @Telstra I'm now with customer support agent no. 3, a quite helpful John Michael. He's optimistic. I'm trying to be... but we're almost 3 full hours in, so who can blame me for a bit of pessimism???

    @Telstra No it's been long-term as I think the signal strength for most mobile networks have problems in the area where my house is. Up the road about 100 meters it's fine but not where I live.
