The sponsors of The Swans need to withdraw their support, not just mumble platitudes about how terrible and serious it is. @Telstra and @QBE . Note that the players apologised to almost everyone in the world EXCEPT the women they assaulted. Speaks volumes.

@ImJulianAssange This is interesting. He's going toe to toe with Telstra in Australia over regional dead zones , for mobile phone subscribers. They have had a monopoly way too long on infrastructure leasing. That has largely been payed for with taxpayer subsidies and credit guarantees. Canada would be similar. They said they support "deregulation" right ? is that only for the international "bond, banking, equities" currency skimming goons and their European aristocracy "stakeholders'? " LOL cause I know Trev and Deb in Penrith won't see a cent in benefit. Maybe cheaper street fentanyl...for the "Asian importers"

Realistically, Trembath should finish 3rd in the Telstra Rising Star after Jagga and Dean, even just for consistency's sake. Wilma Durrsma's last 6 weeks has been utter garbage #AFLNorthCats

@ellymelly Yes it is. My regional medical centre I have had the same doctor at for 30 years has been sold about a year ago. It’s now run by an offshore call centre in India and is now full of Indian doctors and I use that term loosely. I will never go to an immigrant doctor. Also in my small regional town , the Telstra shop all Indian staff, two of the 3 Pizza shops are Indian run, women walking around in Saris, all delivery drivers Indian. It’s an invasion!

The rapidly advancing Starlink system should scare any Australian Telco. I hope the Telstra monopoly on the market gets broken up to the point that they're forced to lower prices. The service we get for Telstra, considering how much we pay is a joke. Any company that moves its operations overseas purely because labour is cheaper deserves to be outcompeted by companies that actually invest in local jobs, innovation, and customer service. If your entire business model relies on cutting wages instead of building a better product, don't be surprised when someone with better technology comes along and makes you irrelevant. Consumers shouldn't be expected to pay premium prices for declining service while executives celebrate another cost cutting exercise.

@_maxantonov I used my Pixel to tether my 5G internet to my Mac and that finally loaded up LinkedIn on my browser but it's still flakey...I'm reading Azure Telstra issues in the mix

@TopherField Having previously worked for both Telstra and NBN, I can say NBN satellite and wireless are complete garbage, Starlink smashes it. NBN fibre is excellent though and speeds are world comparable. Still, many Aussies pick the cheapest slow plans which reduces our world rankings

@sanpellyenjoyer I swear that one in the teal shirt was Steve from Dell tech support. And the one next to him was Randy from Telstra
