  @RizviAbul Well given Telstra and CBA both have an extraordinary number of retail shareholders either , individuals, trusts or superannuation funds numbering in the hundreds of thousands if not millions , many Australians would be aware of the CGT and franking credits but there was never any need for the vast majority to worry about a tax return given not having to declare dividends under a certain amount and the easy calcUlation with the CGT discount .... Now it’s a lot more complicated and non compliance will come with threats so please don’t be so dismissive when for some it is a big deal

  @Telstra When are you getting us a cell tower @Telstra?? This is dangerous! NBN connections are so bad we had to sign up for Opticomm, which until today, was awesome. But an all day outage and I'm working from my car.

  And they’re all the same. It’s almost a rule that the bigger they are the worse they are. Telstra, Optus, Qantas, the big banks, Coles, Woolworths. All run by wildly overpaid ‘chief executives’ who would rather wrestle crocodiles than actually encounter a customer. **** ‘em all.

  @Telstra hi, How long can a Telstra prepaid number stay active without a recharge before the service is cancelled? I’ll be overseas for around 2 to 3 months and want to keep my number without buy any data. it will be wasted.

  @Kate3015 It’d really not that hard to spot but to the untrained eye they always look legitimate. My husband a case in point. He doesn’t click on the link but always asks me how to deal with it. Every time I,show- block the email via,the contact card, delete, simple. Government departments never send you anything, just a notification to go to My Gov. Telstra has the email in the App. If it’s not there it’s not real. There are couple I can think of.

  The insult is that Telstra is also upping my plan cost by $10 a month so they are simultaneously telling me I'm a risk, but also to go **** myself and pay it anyway.
