@MichaelPascoe01 Not to mention Barnaby Joyce linking the test to the Telstra outage? "I don't want to be paranoid or a conspiracy theorist", Joyce said!

@YoiksAndAway @Optus @Telstra Absolutely. Management that place personal greed above service should not be in service industries, and those who endanger lives for personal gain should not be at liberty.

@VLine Why has this not been resolved when Telstra has confirmed resolution on their end. It's currently 5am the following day and your website shows all trains are suspended.

@Olfella @FetchStep @Vikkik88 Australia's National Carrier should never have been privatised. Nor any of our other services infrastructure. Telstra was sold by, and the NBN ******-up by the Howard/Abbott/Turnbull govts (and Murdoch) so we could be ripped off and suffer the inferior services by private telcos.

Has Hughesy blamed the PM for the Telstra outage yet? No Angus Taylor took up that challenge. If the LNP stopped trying to make mischief for the govt and concentrated on getting a few policies underway they’d be a lot better off imo

@Telstra advice. If you can’t get through to 000 try another network or use another phone. Thanks, very helpful. What next? Send an email? Send a letter? Semaphore flags? Smoke signals? Chisel your message in a stone tablet? Don’t rely on Telstra?

@oscarcsims also very confusing policy/reg space. govt essentially renationalised Telstra infrastructure in leasing a bunch of its assets to the NBN. yet Telstra still runs emergency services, payphones, landlines - not NBN. minimal economic incentives, maximal telco corporate welfare

interesting how 3 of the biggest stories in Australia involve phones. 1) Telstra was down all day 2) people tried to call Mitch McConnell 3) State of Origin was again PLAGUED by that ******* awful ad
