  @TheNoisyTrunk @Caitlen2310 @adrian_couper When LNP min. Richard Alston was asked which parts of Telstra he had sold, Was it Yellow Pages or the GSM network, etc, his eyes glazed over and he confessed he sold a 30% tranche of THE ******* LOT. Which is why NBN needed to build a new fixed network at huge public cost.

  And Telstra support said it was a fault, after a hour and a half of trouble shooting. I checked NBN and looks like a service outage in our area - checked a couple of addresses in our road. How long do these usually take to resolve? I was looking forward to a good long weekend :(

  @disco___cat You can use boost mobile which is Telstra though a little cheaper. I'm with Vodafone now and yes you do notice the service drop compared to Telstra

Telstra will be forced to cut back its advertised network coverage by around 1 million square km's following a regulatory crackdown on what the federal government has described as a “mess” of inconsistent and potentially misleading industry claims.   @taximalsVT Foxtel was ****, and when Telstra first Introduced the High speed net, It really was Super fast high speed net for the first few months.. We got heaps. But they realised this, and all ISP's have been throttling the **** out of it every since.

  @lowlandsapien Off subject a little, there is one that runs down the Big Jack. It's not connected to Telstra but very handy in a bad flood to get the road mented quick.
