  @JacintaAllanMP @narendramodi Trying to garner support from Indians will fail and won’t save you from being tossed out on your corrupt arse in November . Very firm statement re Telstra earlier today. Yes They should compensate those who suffered a loss due to their negligence. But what got me was your self righteous pointing the finger at them. What hide from a woman who said nothing about the ambulance death of an elderly man who tragically bled to death while waiting 8 hours for an ambulance that was ramped up at nearby Box Hill Hospital. A day after he died you tweeted about the all woman drilling machine crew. Then there’s your turning a blind eye to the theft of $30 billion. You really are a repugnant and disgusting hypocrite.

  @devalara44 I heard that as well. So my question is - was the patient seriously ill and succumbed to death or did the outage contribute to her death - ie machines hooked up to the patient failed? And what I’d like to know is what medical software operated machines rely on Telstra? If any?

  Sarah Henderson called Triple Zero twice during a live Sky News interview. She stated she did it to "test" whether the emergency network was functioning during the mass outage. One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce and Opposition Leader Angus Taylor were accused of "going off half-cocked" about the possibility of foreign interference without any evidence. Angus Taylor had said he could "understand" Australians questioning the timing of the Telstra incident and China's missile test. "I don't know whether there's any connection or not," Taylor said. Mr Joyce had called for a "diligent process" to determine if the Telstra outage was linked to foreign interference involving China. "I don't want to be paranoid or a conspiracy theorist, but we know there is the capacity for China to affect that sort of software and that sort of network," he told Sky News.

  @Deano631New We were lucky but we’re usually the first to suffer any issues with Telstra. Half the time, I can barely get a decent connection in my sitting room, and have >2 bars (mostly 1 bar).

  "We can't be telling people to hold on 90 seconds for Triple Zero to answer, or go and find another device." ACCAN CEO Carol Bennett to @MichaelUsher on @sunriseon7 after yesterday's Telstra outage left 300+ Triple Zero calls unanswered. Telco needs enforceable reliability standards.
