Starlink fills in the gaps is coverage with low orbit satellite connectivity the others don’t have. But I hope they ’ll have a plan that’s doesn’t include Optus. They already have a deal with Telstra who sellers Starlink cheaper and slower (bad for Starlink brand). Assuming the same hustle will occur with Optus. Competition is always good - but not when the competition works together..

Marcus King (@Marc_Melb) reported@VoteLewko @Starlink Unfortunately Low Earth Orbit / Starlink systems won't replace terrestrial service (like Telstra) for many years because they can't provide the bandwidth across multiple frequencies (yet) that are needed to service all of the customers - particularly in population dense areas.
