  @JacintaAllanMP Simple solution do not rely on digital technology without having options in place if it fail! Telstra failure destroyed VLine why are radios not in every train outside of metro metropolitan? Do not rely on telcos network testing it lags regularly in the bush as it is!

  A guy moved into a new apartment. Only “official” internet was FTTN NBN — $90/month for a pathetic 30 Mbps down max. He called Telstra and Optus.   @Kate3015 Typical Telstra, Telstra must explain what exactly caused the outage, what the fix & what will they do to ensure it never happens again, but they won't. Typical mindset from Telstra, they know already, but will stay stum

  @LeeRespecter Privatisation in her mind means cost cutting to provide more value to shareholders. What that means in reality for maintaining a network is outsourcing the work to Infosys or the like. I don't see how Telstra being public prevents that happening as its the done thing these days

  @Lisa9Sophia And the internet is the worst ever. It’s intermittent and at night goes off for hours. I’m looking at dropping Telstra after 40 years. Going pre paid and getting STARLINK.
