To me, this outage is reminiscent of a corporation that entrusted a junior software engineer to load a major update to all systems. Because they didn't want to pay the senior one overtime.

The problem was resolved pretty quickly & ability to call 000 was never lost either. As far as tech outages go, it was pretty mild & didnt warrant that response by Labor.

GregM (@Gmeister67) reported@jmil400 Thats her job dufus. The Minister or Telstra made no emergency broadcasts that the systems were down. Her role is to ensure govt accountability which appears there was zero. It is her responsibility to ensure essential communications are provided by the govt. They were not.
