Yep, phone calls, calling in to their 'service centre' for a face to face, promises re 'fix up with 72 hrs.... then nothing.... then phone disconnected, then sitting on a mobile (with $h1t reception, for over 2.5 hrs) and still #Telstra cannot reconnect us! #India service centre!

And now the #Telstra operative is telling me the local telephone lines are down, and will be down for 24 - 48 hours!! FFS this is nuts. Mobile service sucks, and landline service is down!

@Telstra Does this also include mobile coverage as I'm having trouble connecting with family in areas with damage. They are getting delayed messages and I'm getting missed call notification without any calls coming through

I remember @telstra spouting off about how 5G would make the NBN redundant. Well so far today, with no NBN available the Telstra network has been so congested it’s barely worked at all 🙄

Holy .... #Telstra... so a network outage that should take 24/48 hours to fix, has now blown out to 7 days, according to your text message?? As far as I know the local exchange hasn't burnt down!

Now past 2.5Hrs on the phone to #Telstra... WAITING to get our phones reconnected!! FFS they find it easy enough to disconnect! It seems our last (of 5) people has gone to lunch, left us on hold!! Can't settle a dispute, can disconnect a phone service, then send you to #India!

@NewcastleGardia @Shirley56733062 Got the usual speel about having to go to a Telstra store so I told them I wasn't prepared to wait the required 2 hours and now I wanted to lodge a complaint...they did that and gave me a case number so I got straight on the phone to the Ombudsmen 2/3
