@LesleyB1970 @BazzaCC I went into a Telstra shop, I was the only customer, three staff and they directed me to a phone to be served. I used my own phone to cancel my account then walked to the nearest Optus shop and opened a new account.

@punkt @BBCNews Here in Australia, @Telstra have made their entire network of public pay phones free - for anyone. Which I suppose just makes them public phones? I thought that was pretty phenomenal. It’s easy for anyone to lose access to a phone service for a bunch of reasons.

@Telstra - my phone calls are patchy. The call remains connected but there is no sound every 10 seconds where I can’t hear the other person. Even when dialing out this disruption is occurring are there any network issues I should be aware of

@FreoLou @ImPaul23 Is there any chance Lou, over the last 20 years, you were on a govt pension, eg single parenting payment, had Telstra internet, maybe going to uni (remotely) and were actually eligible for a hefty discount (never received)? Adds up, (with interest).

Terrible issues with 4G in Gisborne area @Telstra. No internet access via 4G. This is a common problem in this area. When will something be done about this? We are 40 minutes from major city
