    @Telstra so you advertise you have put on extra people to help with calls yet we wait over 45 mins twice this week with oh we can’t help you with your modem WT. second time still waiting but message is due to social distancing you have reduced support services. Useless once again

    @TheDSingularity Telstra's shocking customer service is renowned. For info only: my voice calls to Optus get answered immediately by friendly competent staff, and my Optus wireless broadband internet service provides unlimited data at speeds ~100Mbps or faster (and is way cheaper than the NBN).

    @midii Yeah it’s not common but sometimes I go off the beaten track. This was a while ago but ran into issues earlier in the year also & saw a Telstra SIM at the gas station so picked one up & put it in the old phone. I still need to activate it.

    @Telstra How is that helpful for my issue - ofc I know how to connect my Telstra TV to the internet. It’s just the YouTube app alone that won’t launch on the device.

    @Telstra No. After 2 hours of canned responses and repeated questions that I’d already answered, the operator linked me to the website to self-serve. I’d like to know how I can get better service than that, but without going in-store to talk directly to a person. It was a bad experience.
