@georgetweets2u Marginally related - friend of mine recently attempted to obtain a Telstra service but was told she needed the permission of her now very ex-husband as they previously had a joint account.

@Telstra @Paulz20445090 ‘We understand your pain’ has become the standard coalition, and now corporate too, refrain to cancel your complaints about failed service delivery. I don’t care if you understand my pain, I want you to fix the problem.

@MareeEdwards4 @Telstra They will say anything to get you off the phone, yes we will credit you etc, it never happens then you start over, or give up which is their intention, it’s clearly their policy.

9 hours and counting over three different occasions to sort out NBN (and one missed visit due to a Telstra mess up) and still no closer. Amazing customer service @Telstra.. a new low even for you.

  • VirtuosoVA Elizabeth Williams (@VirtuosoVA) reported

@Telstra the heavy down pour that just hit Oatley had knocked the NBN out no matter who people are with.

  • SaturniusMons Shane (@SaturniusMons) reported

@Telstra Sorry, I've had enough of this. The tech has very poor troubleshooting skills, average to poor knowledge of how cellular networks behave, and makes assumptions on where the phone was when the calls were made (he assumes I sat at home all day every day)

  • pit_matt Matthew (@pit_matt) reported

@ajl247 @Optus I can confirm I've got this issue also, my partner uses Optus on iPhone I'm Telstra on Android, I only seem to receive short texts but anything over 5 or 6 lines never come through. They show as sent on my partner's phone but I never get them. It is so incredibly frustrating.

@jorf131 @disclosetv This is a terrible idea. Last week in the NSW floods Telstra lost there network & shops could not use eftpos so if you didn’t have cash you couldn’t purchase anything. All the ATM’s ran out of cash & none could be refilled due to the floods.
