@RoadknightThe I had a speed issue similar to that and it turned out that I had a faulty socket at the connection point to the house. Took NBN and Telstra months to find it.

@Telstra There is. Connectivity issues are terrible in regional areas. Telstra provide our internet and despite many attempts to have this fixed, they don’t. Last Friday I stayed home from work to meet the tech, who didn’t show up and then sent my wife a message saying it had been fixed

Is @Telstra unlimited internet actually unlimited? Because I'm either being throttled or there is an outage in Thornlands.

@Telstra Text services like social media can still work with intermittent data which is how I've been able to communicate here over the last month. Telstra should consider something similar. Relying on a web page chat service is problematic in data outage situations.

@RoadknightThe I remember the Telstra ADSL days. I had slightly better speed of 1.5Mbps. Only cost me $120 per month and had to have a phone connection too, another $29 per month. That was 5 years ago. Will never use any Telstra service again. Aussie broadband is great.

@truthseeker4216 We're near a polling booth which has had hundreds queueing for up to an hour, bored and on their phones. The same occurs during school holidays, long weekends and when the street festival is on. Telstra does nothing to fix this capacity problem.

how long does it take @Telstra to provide a paid service and unlock a phone? - 3 months, blaming the customer, multiple complaints ombudsman involvement - still no closer @TelcoOmbudsman @andy_penn

@RoadknightThe @PerihelionSpace The speed you are getting makes the service useless.Have you tried making a complaint to the Telecommunications Ombudsman? Complaints cost Telstra real money. The higher the level of complaint the more it costs the telco.
