@RoadknightThe I have iiNet Ultra Cable WiFi here in Corio. 120+ Meg. The NBN is “No Bloody Network”. It’s not Telstra, it’s the carrier.

@elonmusk I would hazard a guess that also the vast majority of churn from NBN is going to the mobile phone telcos (telstra/optus/vodafone) on 5G, however they're claiming Starlink, which is barely opened here in Australia, as somehow a catastrophic incident to their business model.

So, I braved the wilds of Geelong CBD to lodge a complaint with Telstra about speeds averaging 0.04mbps when they claim 2 to 50mbps. They gave me a test to perform to eliminate my hardware as the problem. That done, they agreed it is a coverage/capacity problem but... /2
