  @Zhane_Star To be fair, Daisy appeared in Super Mario Run, the last new mainline 2D Mario, as a playable character. Waluigi is a problem because of his existence as a joke character and his (seemingly) lacking popularity in Japan. His existence is a franchise-wide null-factor.

  There has one guy at Nintendo who just REALLY loves Mario Run, against all reason this game is somehow still randomly getting new updates and its amazing. I wish that guy at Nintendo also really loved Crash Twinsanity and randomly made a full remake of it......

  Mario Run is also affected. However Dr. Mario World didn't have the issue (ironic, that the game will shut down in two weeks)

  Both of these games are just inferior incarnations of their console versions, and everyone knows it. Meanwhile, nobody liked Super Mario Run, and nobody noticed Dr. Mario World. The issue is that, yes, casuals play mobile games. But casuals don't spend money, either.

  Phew thank god I’m not the only one who appears to be having problems with the App Store. I wonder what ******** happened. I thought a lot of the things I was searching for was deleted. The only stuff that popped up was Super Mario Run

  @Jadenfire @BillyTheToilet @NinEverything All mods are scam. Super Mario Run doesn't have any working mods! Super Mario Run is running on servers. You're coins are saved on encrypted servers, so there is no way you could modify it!

  @Jadenfire @JosephR56698859 @NintendoAmerica Nintendo made that decision with Mario Run BECAUSE people on mobile devices do waaay to much pirating on them :V especially Android it's a big problem, and nintendo did that to ensure people wouldn't pirate it

  @AmiStarZX @YungMugiwara_ The issue I have is that we have no evidence that the clown car is CURRENTLY moving at those speeds in Super Mario Run, or that it can even go that fast in the first place given the jump cut in Mario Party.

  @KPooper2005 It still gets updates, but the amount of new content it gets is at a rate so slow that a lot of people have moved to other games. but at least it wouldn't do an event as small as the one in Mario Run.

  Mama Balloo Switch update: I got on the phone with her because she was stuck on Mario Odyssey, had no idea "how to make mario run." I kept telling her: it's just the left joystick. That's it. If the joystick isn't working let me know because I'll need to get an exchange for you.

  @mr_evaporation I genuinely would rather play Mario Run or Sonic Speed Battle, yeah that last one was grindy but at the same time it felt like I was getting somewhere, when I played Crash on the Run I felt weirdly trapped in a way

  There was definitely a time when Nintendo just let Mario run rampant. Do ANYTHING. Make WHATEVER you want up, have some Goomba OCs, maybe the Koopalings sing, just have fun with it, that's what Mario's about!! Now it's more like "THERE ARE STRICT RULES WHICH CAN NEVER BE BROKEN"

  @Hamada_520 Yeah, Not even Mario can save a mediocre game, even Mario Run had a lot of trouble. So in the article I wanted to show examples of games that could had a skin of those franchises and still be fun.

  @ZFighterAmuro @HatokTalk Love how at least when I last used iOS, most of the top reviews of Mario Run had words to the effect of "scam" in them. On an app store that has a serious and ever-present problem with actual scam apps.

  @somari8591 Fair enough but like it still doesn’t fix the issue that Mario is just as nostalgia heavy as Sonic a lot of the time. Let’s not forget NSMB exists. Or 3D World. Or Mario Run.

  @Rei_Sh0 I'm well aware of all issues with Sonic 06, but it's usually considered the worst Sonic game even though a most of them suck. Mario Run is usually considered the worst Mario game, which is why I compare them. I don't count games like Hotel Mario.

  Hey @NintendoUK I uninstalled super Mario run from my iPhone and just re installed it for some nostalgia! It’s weirdly now created a new ‘user’ and won’t let me connect to my Nintendo account. My tickets, buildings etc are also gone! Error 804-3985

  @TweaksSupport @ahmedmakls It does not work for any of my apps. Apps are: Mercedes me, Sparkasse (Banking App), Sky Go, Mario Kart, Mario Run. Nothing is working. Auxi pack is not installed, spark dev repo exist. What is wrong?

  @Jadenfire @toucharcade Dude. Mario Run is amazing. New content? Of course not! Wanna do some PVP, probably not, but the mechanics are golden, super responsive and who doesn’t play a Mario game over an over an over and over and over and… I might have a problem haha

  @RichardPrince_ Yea I have two builds a pg that has 99 perimeter defense and 99 steal and all the badges and people still dribble into me and no penalty…sometimes I get steals but it needs to happen more or they should bobble the ball not Mario run into me Game is just broken

  @mockeryofortuna I already had 300, then adding my Mario run account to my Nintendo added 100, then I just did daily challenges plus the sign in bonus and got 500 :) it didn’t take much time at all!

  Even Nintendo hasn't been able to have a good track record. Pokemon Go was good, but lasted only a month before the hype died. Mario run is good, but most of it is behind a paywall. And lots of people had an issue with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Same for Mario Kart Tour.

  @JustinHackbarth @Hideki_Naganuma Interesting. From what I've seen, Nintendo loves to contract out Mario for money, instead of prioritizing quality. I.E: Mario Run, Mario Kart Tour, etc. Problem is, Sonic fans are just better than Sony at knowing what fans want. But have you heard of Yakuza?
