@SpacePirate_io @Steam If an app only looks at what nfts you have (via a web based account system), does not issue or sell directly and has no currency etc - that still an issue?

@sillytuna @SpacePirate_io @Steam Id assume but most likely still would not help.... NFT holding value is the issue so if the game only *looks up data* it should be fine as long as the NFTs are never up for sale.

@sillytuna @SpacePirate_io @Steam that's what I mean with data queries you are still using the NFT as the data is stored *frozen* so it can be accessed but can't be changed. The main issue here is posession. If you don't allow users to truley own anything then it should be ok no?

@SpacePirate_io @Steam This likely isn't supported is due to legal / regulatory issues. Being a US based company steam would likely have to answer to the SEC - especially due to the fact that there is 0 legal clarity on how to avoid being pursued by them. I don't think steam is at fault here.

@sillytuna @SpacePirate_io @Steam Yeah I thought this would all be a legal case with gambling laws and currency when it comes to gaming. That's why you would think Data queries wouldn't be an issue. But there is always the chance to sell so burn keys? Im with steam on this one though due to security concerns

@NFTupdate @Steam I'm 100% sure it's due to legal and taxation issues. They are an international storefront for various countries. Considering the governments don't even know how to handle crypto yet (see Binance's regulation issues), I doubt Steam wants to get involved in that mess.

@DiegoZube @Steam @jakebrowatzke It's a fact but... NFTs games universe is so early. There's so much place for developments and upgrades. It's only the beginning. Clearly, the NFT games are not so hot right now because It's still new and time will fix the things that make people tired of it. Be patient.

@SkyMavisHQ @Steam If the issue is the Bots, their solution still won't fix the problem. Since these bots will still reset at 1200 MMR and just play in the adventure haays. They should focus on security, identifying and banning those bots. Not take the SLP of those poor players with below 800 MMR.
