@minkrov @Anaya_sharma876 @Steam The games themselves aren't the problem - most anticheat systems actually support Linux *natively* these days... The problem is that the developers behind many multiplayer games *choose* to blacklist Linux because they're anti-Linux. Also, they're a small part of the industry.

@MrKillevrything @GooningOnRumble @Steam Now THAT is saying something. If MKE has many gifted games and has never run into the issue…I don’t know. But I can’t wait for all the stupid suggestions like “Did you check the router?”

@Pirat_Nation I love the @Steam support team. Out of all of them Steam support was always there to help and always found a solution to a problem no matter if it's hardware or software. The last time I had to contact Steam support was with a out of warranty Index Controller. They were out of stock at the time and I wanted to see how much they would charge to fix it. After some troubleshooting steps they offered to replace the controller for free (and this was around 2 to 3 months out of warranty). For me I'll buy from Valve before I buy from anyone else, I'm looking forward to the Steam Controller and Steam Frame. @valvesoftware

@fr33thytweaks @Steam If the problem is the hardware, a firmware update isn’t gonna change anything lol

@Pirat_Nation @Steam @valvesoftware In an ideal world yes, but it's more to the effect of a grandfathered in aspect. Roughly 75% of everyone is there, other options are almost moot, as a cult following talks about convenance, and then complains about every aspects it creates. If one want's to be able to refund any game, expect that game to be 100 dollars, especially when purchasing it from a 3rd party store front. Don't mistake the issue. This is not a "Steam" issue, it's an informed consumer issue. So what Gabe Newell says is technically true, but the users are on auto pilot to the next fad, not proper investment. It is the consumer that makes Steam a "monopoly", not Steam/Valve itself. #StopKillingGames #DirectSupport #FundAllocation

@Fen0505 @valvesoftware @Steam Prioritize people who bought and played games on their accounts, this with long service badges, and older than 6 months to a year

@studiozaum @Steam Any idea if this will address some of the other sound/voiceover issues? I’ve encountered issues with both the guy at the top of the pylon and the music seller guy in the bazaar, halfway through a conversation the dialogue voice over will just stop playing.

Lets be real here @valvesoftware has no ***** in this @Steam should be treating the Steam Deck as a loss leader. You're not beholden to investors every quarter. You can afford to eat some margin and make hardware that actually moves the market. Where's the $299 Steam Deck? Where's the $499 Steam Machine? You really think people wouldn't jump on that in a heartbeat? Gaming hardware prices are so messed up right now that Valve could practically own the budget market if it had the nerve to try. @valvesoftware fix it.

Getting sick of this ****. @valvesoftware @Steam @Steam_Support How do you justify this? How are you fixing the issue? Tell BlackRock to kick rocks. Your users will pay you any way you come up with.

@xritsken @NakiVT @Steam It's a big part of the gameplay and you can do way more then just whip people to get them to work. Other examples is Palworld where pals are treated as slaves and can be butchered. It's ridiculous to say the whipping that is the only problem. Remove the whipping and it's fine?

EA games are just so bad! The jankie game save setup between @EA and @Steam means your only ever one game crash away from a wiped save file and start over. 🤦 Been racing my son on NFS Heat. Was just leveling up to his level now back to level 1. Ruuuuuuubish!
