Sure people will ***** about no refunds, but that's only because they want to steal. We don't have the kind of high trust society needed to allow for refunds.

They could beat it say I did not enjoy the time I spent playing it and the window was still open so the refund is not abuse. Hell even in this case they gave a 👍 but if they did not like it was short the refund is still not abuse. Do better work.

My view is very simple- if you are a dev, and you use steam KNOWING it has a 2 hour refund window, and you make a game less than 2 hours, and you get refunds; THATS YOUR FAULT. You designed it that way and now you have fallen foul of the systems at play. To then request the entire system, that has until this point worked quite well for everybody, be overhauled- is wild. I think the 2 hour window for refunds is good, it allows you breathing space if there are any technical issues with the game, it allows you to do some troubleshooting before refunding, it allows you to do a tutorial and get out into the main game usually, and figure out if its something you want to do.

RickTrajan (@RickTrajan) reported@gaersstapa @Zoroarts @Steam The problem with this mindset is it encourages prolonging a game rather than doing what it's meant to do (telling a story, good multiplayer setup, or whatever a game you want it to be). It's like word count on essays, vehicles being predominantly suvs and trucks in US, etc.

I'd rather just have the great 60 or 90 minute game instead of one that is made worse by padding. Thank you friend.
