@Agrivetbusiness @ABCRural I was on satellite NBN, which was hopeless. Very slow speeds (circa 2-3 mbps download) and was often offline for "maintenance" for many hours at a time. The Starlink system is easy to install, I have it on the roof and speeds in excess of 150 mbps sometimes nearly to 300 mbps 1/2

@hadarachconsult @Osinttechnical Except repositioning starlink satellites, sending out truckloads of receivers, and proving up to date support in Ukraine, which gave them a communications system that is a fuckload harder to destroy. You ain't ****, and you ain't done ****.

@TELUSsupport @TELUS Starlink experiencing 3-4x download and upload as we were getting at the SmartHub, with 100mbps as opposed to the 15-20 with Telus. Next step is switching the phones away! Note that this is unconfigured and in a poor-LOS area. Half the sky is blocked!

Starlink really gets a bit laggy when my entire network uses it. Pings go way way up. 200+ms and packet loss gets up there too.

Hi @elonmusk, how long would one expect to wait for Starlink support to get back to you for a Router that cannot connect to it's Dish for a brand new subscriber with brand new OOB equipment?

@adrianweckler I get 180 - 240Mbs direct to the Starlink router but we use Deco mesh for through the house which then drops to 80 - 90Mbs. It’s excellent with very little downtime but Images in Instagram etc are slow to load

@farmer_nick_au @burgess_ag We’ve had Starlink for 4 months or so, and overall no problems. Small outages of around a minute or less have been happening on and off for a week. Reported to Starlink and mostly fixed now. It’s never been completely offline for hours at a time

@burgess_ag Had @starlink almost a year in Canada. Took about 3 weeks to come. Sets up in minutes and never looked back. It has some mysterious drops every now and then, but they have become fewer over time. Far better than what I had with Bell here. Amazing product.

@billplein .@Telus doesn't _have_ any competition out here. Except from Starlink. And Telus knows that Starlink can't service enough customers to be a real threat. So I am unlikely to see fibre deployed here in my lifetime.
