@SpaceXStarlink can I please get my pre-order shipped? I'll do anything for this service. I know for a fact someone near me has Starlink.

  • supremehamsta Supremehamsta♔ (@supremehamsta) reported

@NASA Watching nasa tv ... can ya do a starlink deal with Elon so there is never a LOS?

  • Tommy45681530 Tbird725 (@Tommy45681530) reported

@elonmusk I’m 42 with no 401k. I wanna invest in SpaceX and Starlink when available. Doge isn’t moving can’t afford Tesla. How low is buy in? I want to help revolutionize my kids future!

  • reillyusa Christian Reilly (@reillyusa) reported

@RonOglesby Yeah but what’s the new “CPE”? I’m asking genuinely because I remember running around Iraq with BGANs. I’ve not seen the customer hardware that’s going to connect to Starlink yet.

  • Kaitain_US Kaitain 🇺🇸 (@Kaitain_US) reported

SpaceX (Starlink) should just provide the equipment for free since their internet service is just a money printer for them. Printer goes brrrrtttzzz.

  • robertnb1977 Robertnb1977 (@robertnb1977) reported

@elonmusk is Starlink service actually geo-fenced, and if so why, why not keep it mobile? Also, thought You said it would be cheaper than current internet prices, but I pay less than the $100 a month I hear Yours cost.

  • bigwyte87 bigwyte security (@bigwyte87) reported

@elonmusk how can I get on starlink live in southeast Ohio I'm on hughnet in it slow and has a data cap

  • axematty 🪓Matty Larose (@axematty) reported

Yes, the satellite communicator costs $800, and the service $150 a month. But what does an LTE connection from bell cost? no mention. What does setup + monthly for a Wifi cost? Both of those options are significantly worse than what's offered by starlink.

  • SX_Falcon_5 Falcon 5 (@SX_Falcon_5) reported

Anyone else a little concerned about SpaceX's communications? A Starlink satellite wasn't maneuvered and endangered ESA's ****** satellite because of a bad call paging system. SN8 didn't have FAA permission but that somehow didn't reach control?

  • LAT7A Greg Latta (@LAT7A) reported

@SpaceX @elonmusk Doubt anyone might see this, but we just received our Starlink dish, got it working... but still have received no emails, setup no account or password, and have tried multiple times to “recover” password, including alternate email option. Not in any spam. Help!

  • robertncole Robert Cole (@robertncole) reported

@GovBillLee Between @TMobile Home Internet and @SpaceX Starlink, this is becoming less critical from a corporate buildout perspective and would help more people with less funds to help direct them and support some of the newer non-landline options.

  • Talootriesgami1 Talootriesgaming (@Talootriesgami1) reported

Please @elonmusk I need internet where I am cause xplorenet sucks! I want Starlink! So I can stream...

  • LucasTam10 Lucas Tam (@LucasTam10) reported

@Althemowerfixer @CBCNews @NicoleatCBC Big difference with Starlink is the density of the satellites - there will be hundreds which will ensure a strong signal. As for phone lines and physical infrastructure, it's often too expensive to justify for rural communities.

  • twobru Greg Brubaker (@twobru) reported

@iowahawkblog We bought a lot in SW Colorado late last year that can't get internet service from either the local landline provider or the line-of-sight wireless provider. We love the lot but probably wouldn't have gone through with the purchase without Starlink's impending rollout.

  • AntonOleson Bigcricket boop/bop/beep (@AntonOleson) reported

@SpaceXStarlink I pay 80 dollars a month currently to spectrum. I have normal access to internet, but would rather support starlink. Is star-link in mass-consumer phase yet?

  • WhiteAndFluffy8 White And Fluffy🌬️🌪️⚡️🌦️🚧🤡 (@WhiteAndFluffy8) reported

@MrAndyNgo This ignorance happens because the general public lives in broadcast TV world and controlled internet. Broadcast media must die, bring on Starlink and every other internet-only service!

  • catapart42 catapart (@catapart42) reported

@RonOglesby I'm seeing some hope in a different direction: using a starlink-like setup to relay cell signals (down to 3G), which still requires cell towers, but gets around the "visibility" and "shadows" issue. The tech is far more proven. My assumption, ATM, is that starlink will hybrid.

  • f0go f0go (@f0go) reported

Please @elonmusk help me! I really need Starlink in Argentina ASAP

  • f0go f0go (@f0go) reported

  • markp1950 Mark Potochnik (@markp1950) reported

@iam_Sekaiz @SpaceX I'd say it's time to be making plans for Starlink. I have service, but want to cut the cord.

  • JayReding Jay Reding (@JayReding) reported

@iowahawkblog Exactly - rural broadband is often just awful and having one non-****** option for people in farms/small towns is going to be a huge market. I have a bunch of relatives who are using their phones as hotspots rather than deal with crappy rural broadband who would love Starlink.

  • argyriou15 argyriou (@argyriou15) reported

@iowahawkblog Bad news or good news? The company providing service to my in-laws outside State Center are probably losing money on them. Moving them to Starlink might help their bottom line.

  • RonOglesby Ron Oglesby (@RonOglesby) reported

Starlink is going to change the network game (world wide) the way the cell phone technologies have.

  • King_D0GE King D0GE (@King_D0GE) reported

@RealMatK @SkyUK Then they will call you and beg to please come back... I cancelled my fiber connection buggy as fck and ordered my starlink beta package Never want to be part of those mafia cell companies again

  • thezolon Zolon (@thezolon) reported

@SameOldShane Where I am now.. Windstream DSL that won't even hit 1mbps. LTE - Verizon Hotspot with data caps unless you got lucky like me. (35-75mbps down, 30-70ms ping) Hughes/Viasat - Dialup is better. Starlink soon, and MAYBE Fiber from the power co-op.

  • ConventionalNa Growth, Dividend and Value Stocks (@ConventionalNa) reported

@LargoJd Long story short they put literally every other DC provider to shame. It's not even funny. Haven't looked into Chinese providers* $TSLA is a customer btw. #Starlink is probably going to interact with those DC's.

  • LucasTam10 Lucas Tam (@LucasTam10) reported

@Althemowerfixer @CBCNews @NicoleatCBC Starlink is going to triple in speed by the end of the year, and reach gigabit plus speeds in a few years. Besides the hardware costs, the service price is comparable to Rogers/Bell gigabit list price.

  • Mirzah1111 Mirza (@Mirzah1111) reported

@verizonfios WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET. STARLINK IS COMING SOON BE READY TO LOSE MILLIONS OF CUSTOMERS. FIOS SHAME ON YOU. I CANT WAIT FOR STARLINK SERVICE.

  • GeorgeResists George Resists (@GeorgeResists) reported

@SpaceX @elonmusk Am I the only one going Bat Crazy waiting for their Starlink ? I’m ready to quit my job and help build and run these ground based stations that are needed. I have a degree in electronics and programming experience. Sign me up already.

  • Snowymb1 🇨🇦 (@Snowymb1) reported

@Xplornet got a complaint going with CCTS. Looking into signing up with Starlink. Cand we get a customer class action lawsuit going against this company for the constant lies, beyond horrible service and high cost rip-off of there lack of service?
