Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • HuabaBinian noiaisthefuture (@HuabaBinian) reported

@Alexandros__23 starlink has never ever heard a word of syntropy

  • SevenStarHand Seven Star Hand (@SevenStarHand) reported

@GendoWasRight @SpiritofLenin Find one astronomer that likes what Starlink has done. So many additional satellites and debris in orbit is not a good thing. It is also a bad trend since commerce is a competition and that guarantees competitors garbage in space too.

  • RocketRacer10 Rocket Racer (@RocketRacer10) reported

@rotational222 @C_S_Skeptic @DJSnM "Other types of hardware that support the Internet include routers, servers, cell phone towers, satellites, radios, smartphones and other devices. All these devices together create the network of networks." Starlink is just another part of the network.

  • Raptor22d Raptor22 (@Raptor22d) reported

@1stMarsColonist @JoeB_Photos @Eric_Blum_ Starlink will make a profit over a period of time, but they lose money on the launch. The goal is to recoup the launch costs and then make a profit margin over time from internet service plans sold to subscribers.

  • rdan331 Dave Davenport (@rdan331) reported

@starlink I need you!!! @xfinity is down and I have work tomorrow. When will you have service on Whidbey Island, WA?

  • AntonioReyX360 Alex °Ξ☻Ξ (@AntonioReyX360) reported

@PCMag thats funny a starlink sub was curious to torrent content , when starlink themselves torrent the sky over us for resource , while the starlink sub gets radiated and bombarded by proto-type tech for signal the sub was curious about torrenting files .

  • madebyforbi forbi (@madebyforbi) reported

@ChebbaSparks That isnt even necessarily the problem. Although Starlink is in beta, it’s expected to have outages. What’s extremely frustrating is that I don’t have any other options that make sense, even with taking the outages into account. I just have to deal with it until I move next year.

  • ClausMller17 Claus Møller (@ClausMller17) reported

@C_S_Skeptic I even saw an idiot analyst raise valuation of spacex on the outlook of increased starlink activity. insanity.

  • SkyPowell8 HOLY UNDEAD EMPEROR. RAISED FROM DEATH BY ALLAH (@SkyPowell8) reported

@MUSKSWAPCHANNEL Oh yes also. This won't even run on space x starlink because I'll have the military shut it down if it does and seize starlink

  • JamieWrightO3 Jamie Wright (@JamieWrightO3) reported

@Westcory Waiting for my Starlink to show up. Rural Alberta sucks so bad for internet speeds

  • Phila_Mino Minnow (@Phila_Mino) reported

@erikbryn @ATabarrok Or, another possibility is gathered around Starlink service zones, which as I understand, are roughly longitudinal.

  • MJJAMESJr3 MJ (@MJJAMESJr3) reported

@SpaceX - #STARLINK will be the worlds largest broadband network in the near future , providing Internet via dish antenna they will the largest internet provider. So what do u think @davidgokhshtein ? about #dogecoin as the payment for the world's Internet? @elonmusk #Dogefather

  • CanuckLink Canuck Link 2.0 🍁⬡ (@CanuckLink) reported

@TheCryptoMewtwo $DIP i like a lot cause they are creating an insurance primitive. Like how $aave is a lending primitive. $Noia is focused on reducing internet latency at a software level. If you're big on 5G & starlink as hardware solutions, NOIA provides a software solution.

  • NickSS49 Nick Steeves (@NickSS49) reported

@PlayApex yall need to come up with a way not to penalize people who have random internet outages. 10 minutes abandon penalty? I didn't quit my dudes. I've got starlink satellite internet and it can cut out randomly. I get for ranked but not for arenas. Especially if its not rank

  • sangams61 sangam (@sangams61) reported

@elonmusk Hello ELON JI THIS IS SANGAM SWAMI FROM INDIA I AM SERVING AS AN INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IN INDIA FROM LAST 7 YEARS I AM RUNNING MY OWN BUSINESS MY STATE NOW I WANT TO WORK WITH YOUR ''STARLINK" PLEASE GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH YOU,YOUR COMPANY PLEASE SIR.

  • DavidWoodworth david woodworth (@DavidWoodworth) reported

@elonmusk My cable/internet provider sucks and I don’t have any minor children to qualify for any Government childcare tax credits…😔 Would you be so kind and magnanimous to send me a free Starlink please because I unlike other people can’t afford great high speed-internet. T.Y. 🙏🏻🚀🛰

  • wayneadam Adam Reyna (@wayneadam) reported

Sucks that Subaru charges $25 a year to remote start your car. :-/ Includes basically their version of LoJack and a few other safety features. But why not just have it in the regular STARLINK service?

  • RocketRacer10 Rocket Racer (@RocketRacer10) reported

@rotational222 @C_S_Skeptic @DJSnM "Nobody said anything about them being in space, either." Man! You're stupid as ****. I said that, *******, to explain to you why Starlink is not it's own independent internet.

  • SevenStarHand Seven Star Hand (@SevenStarHand) reported

@GendoWasRight @SpiritofLenin Space observatories are a good thing, but they'll never replace amateur astronomy. Starlink is not a good thing for ground based observers and researchers. The problem of having billionaires make these decisions, based on profits, is it trashes the resource for everyone else.

  • chey_cobb CyberSec Chey (@chey_cobb) reported

@tonyserrata The telcos never finish the last mile in rural areas, despite the promises they made to get govt $$$. We had a major trunk line at the end of our driveway, but they wanted a min nbr of subscribers and many thousands to connect us. Starlink is crap - $$$, data caps, low speeds.

  • RocketRacer10 Rocket Racer (@RocketRacer10) reported

@rotational222 @DJSnM @C_S_Skeptic **** OFF. This is past the point of getting old. Starlink simply connects people to the internet network through ground stations. The network (the servers) is on the ground not in ******* orbit.

  • C_S_Skeptic CommonSenseSkeptic (@C_S_Skeptic) reported

@rotational222 @RocketRacer10 @DJSnM StarLink isn't an ISP, as it does not Provide Internet Service - it provides equipment to ACCESS the internet. Without SL the Web stills exists. Without the Web, SL is nothing. And since SL accesses the Web thru actual ISPs, they pay data rates, so expect data caps in the future.

  • Caideenah Caideenah (@Caideenah) reported

I'll be back online when its possible. Not any options out here. Just praying @elonmusk gets #StarLink going for us soon. We paid the down payment. Just waiting on the equipment now. Being quite literallyl allergic to being outside, I NEED my internet.

  • ClausMller17 Claus Møller (@ClausMller17) reported

@C_S_Skeptic but they can’t. number of paid launches has dropped and spacex (like any musk company) continuously needs to raise cash to be in businesses. And you can’t raise without growth. which is why starlink has been spun out and now appears as a customer of spacex.

  • amirabbas1398 AmirAbbas 2009 (@amirabbas1398) reported

@elonmusk As you may have already heard the iranian government is going to permanently shut down the internet in the next few days. Now, The people of Iran along with all the oppressed around the world are counting on your #starlink!

  • JoeB_Photos Joe.B (@JoeB_Photos) reported

@1stMarsColonist @Raptor22d @Eric_Blum_ No I said “SpaceX is losing money on **Starlink launches**” never said Starlink itself won’t be profitable.

@Alexandros__23 my only fear atm is that it‘s just a industry behind it which want to make money to buy more bitcoin.. i never thought that syntropy would be fake but after i heard that the starlink tweet was just clickbait.. there i started thinking a little bit different about it and i wasnt

  • tonyserrata Antonio Serrata (@tonyserrata) reported

@chey_cobb HUGE deal. T-Mobile has a service that meets those needs from a 5G perspective. It's fairly solid. That said tower buildouts need to happen. BUT they seem to be at it. The ONLY real (100Mbps+ rural competitor in rural internet now is Starlink and T-Mobile.
