Starlink Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • randi_custer Randi Custer (@randi_custer) reported

@SpacePadreIsle @SciGuySpace I don't want him distracted. I can buy a Starlink to support SpaceX

  • BS__Exposed Bullshit Exposed (@BS__Exposed) reported

The last launch of #Starlink satellites was on June 30th, the next is scheduled for no earlier than September, resulting in a 2 months hold, another indicator #SpaceX is struggling financially. At the current pace the Starlink network breaks down quicker than sats are launched.

  • bygrace Jeff Jones (@bygrace) reported

@LevisBecker It’s heartbreaking as an educator knowing children who would like to see their friends but are unable due to data caps and lack of services. Rural internet costs more, has yearlong wait lists (starlink), and slow speeds/poor connections. #onted

  • aquaponicdave Abraham Davenport (@aquaponicdave) reported

@CodaAnthony1 Anyone who thinks this planet can be escaped from anytime soon is an idiot. There are laudable goals in some space projects, the Starlink project is a case in point. Making internet access cheaper and globally available is a great idea.

  • The_CrapGamer Down And Out CrapGamer :( (@The_CrapGamer) reported

@MrKrisSteel To be fair not everywhere is as bad as where I'm at. There's gigabit internet 300 yards I ordered starlink, but that's not getting here until later this year, but said to be 250 down and 50 up. Mine right now is 25 down and 1.5 up. Though my down is constantly under 10

  • buidl3r buidl3r.eth (@buidl3r) reported

@0x31415 @ptonerdoteth @antiprosynth Would something like starlink work? Or they’d just interfere with the signal

  • catboymaid69 punished 'venom' noah, esq, md (sigma male) (ret.) (@catboymaid69) reported

@postingtwink @ptonerdoteth the shitcoiners have thought of that. the solution is starlink, because it always is, and Taliban fighters would never be able to identify a satellite dish on a ******* mud hut

  • rupertg Rupert Goodwins (@rupertg) reported

@tforcworc @lilianedwards And if analogue VC does fall under the category, then whence analogue phone conferencing? One-to-one calls? ISDN? What if I'm doing digital television via a satellite? Or people use Starlink or other orbital network? The cases tend to infinity...

  • H4WKart H4wkArt✎- Fantasy, SciFi, & Pinups (@H4WKart) reported

@Xplornet Terrible customer service & horrible internet. Incredibly low speed. Dropped calls every 5 minutes and 13 MB image downloads take up to 30 min. Can't wait for StarLink to expand their service and switch. I've already pre paid for it.

  • real_pixel_nut Pixel Nut (@real_pixel_nut) reported

@elonmusk @SpaceX @SpaceXStarlink I noticed that you haven't been launching starlink satellites. Is it because of Viasat Inc's public temper tantrums? Are the launches on hold until this legal garbage is cleared up?

  • H4WKart H4wkArt✎- Fantasy, SciFi, & Pinups (@H4WKart) reported

@Xplornet Maybe they should stop taking photos of deer & actually start doing their jobs. Terrible customer service & horrible internet. Incredibly low speed. Dropped calls on every 5 minutes and 13 MB downloads take up to 30 min. Can't wait for StarLink to expand their service and switch.

  • anthonypants FIPSmode Squad (@anthonypants) reported

@catboymaid69 @postingtwink @ptonerdoteth starlink also requires a local terrestrial internet service provider

  • xyler94 Xyler 🇨🇦 🔞 (@xyler94) reported

@ArtsW01f Do keep in mind though, that Starlink uses Carrier NAT, so hosting services like a website would be an issue. But, if you aren't hosting and just need a ton of download, Starlink works great for that.

  • Teknosha Teknosha (@Teknosha) reported

Dear @elonmusk, my birthday is this Saturday... What would be the chance that I could get selected to test Starlink in South Louisiana? Down payment has been in since February! #fingerscrossed

  • SarahBurssty Sarah Burssty on  (@SarahBurssty) reported

@nikkied_nikki He has had no other ideas that legitimately help anyone at all. At least Starlink gives internet to the most remote places on earth

  • TheTacoIsALie Javier Narvaez (@TheTacoIsALie) reported

@ask_spectrum this is the third time in less than a week that the internet service has an outage. I work from home and you’re costing me money. Just how old is your infrastructure? I think I’m going to sign up for StarLink. Can’t be worse than you. #SpectrumSucks

  • elit3spartan3 Jackson Minter (@elit3spartan3) reported

@elonmusk When Starlink is available in my area, how much will the service cost? Will it be an annual or monthly payment? Furthermore I have already made a deposit.

  • sangams61 sangam (@sangams61) reported

  • nikkied_nikki nikki but tired 🦈 (@nikkied_nikki) reported

@SarahBurssty I'm not defending his other ideas, I'm just saying that starlink is **** aswell

  • PumaTPG 🎥 | Puma 🇺🇸 (@PumaTPG) reported

@narc_kj @2021_Karma Commercial satellites that are up there that provide Internet like iridium Inmarsat used for voice and data It would never get them the traffic they are trying to claim. Not even Elon musk starlink unless everyone was on and using that network.

  • thoromyr Black Cats (@thoromyr) reported

@AskDrStupid congrats on the starlink! I don't recall much issue w/ rain, but neighbour trees give lots of obstruction so I might miss the effect

  • MBo0y Mîķéý Bo0y (@MBo0y) reported

@elonmusk is starlink actually unlimited internet??? Damn u crazy son of a rock

  • Grizzo40 B.R. (@Grizzo40) reported

When the #Hughesnet repair guy says he'd never use the service himself, it really removes any doubt about #Starlink going forward. Now it's just a matter of waiting (and finding a spot for Dishy)...

  • whvholst Walter 🇪🇺 (@whvholst) reported

@bilalghalib That said, the current operators are all using geostationary satellites, meaning high latency, poor bandwidth and extortionate pricing. LEO operators are around the corner (with one in beta, StarLink, but may not be available in Lebanon yet)

  • opiemsith1 Troy Keating (@opiemsith1) reported

@NaterLabs Verizon home internet honestly sucks unless you are in a city with an ultra wide band tower. Starlink would be better but it's expensive as hell. Just doing your best to get Comcast to fix their **** is probably your best option.

  • duffy_jonathan Jon duffy (@duffy_jonathan) reported

@BoflexorDie Wouldn't have this problem with #STARLINK fnl

  • johnshealy John Shealy (@johnshealy) reported

@antavedissian Suffering on DSL here in rural NC. Been on waiting list for Starlink since January, but otherwise there are still no good options for high speed in rural areas in the states. Quoted $15k+ for fiber lines to my property. 🙏 Praying to Papa Elon for help 🙏

  • xyler94 Xyler 🇨🇦 🔞 (@xyler94) reported

@ArtsW01f Actually no, the Carrier NAT is almost necessary due to IPv4 shortages. They're working on upgrading to IPv6. But don't let that dissuade you, Starlink is a great service. There's some random disconnects for a few seconds, probably satellite changes, but it's real stable!

  • Asmos159 Aaron Powell (@Asmos159) reported

@elonmusk will the overheating problems have been fixed by the time starlink leaves beta? there are a lot of people in death valley that don't have internet.

  • realliferobinh1 realliferobinhood (@realliferobinh1) reported

@SpaceXStarlink Very tired with xfy. I just want to change my wifi password and its been 3 hours... i managed to talk to 3 ppl and none of them could find a solution... waiting for starlink to launch in my area.... send my antenna Elonnnn... :p
