It seems obvious to me that a service like Spotify can't sustainably exist in a market economy where artists survive on intellectual property royalties. Even if you ignore all the money sucked out for profit, there isn't enough to pay mega-stars a 'fair' royalty and everyone else

@genericinsight @dodgonkulator @cloudnothings It doesn't even matter. The industry has evolved and blaming the consumer is a terrible practice either way. I don't know what the solution is, nobody does, but putting your music on Spotify and then saying fans owe you money for listening to it is an absolute dogshit take.

I can't use my Facebook account or any of my Gmail accounts. 1rst one last months. The last one a day or 2. I run a VPN, but have it set to just one city. I have no idea whst the problem is.

I don't use Spotify. My most played albums on Apple were Disney tunes, Hamilton, The Transformers the movie soundtrack, Piece of mind, Monkey swallows the Universe (thanks @thermalsatsuma ) The HU (@AndyMcH, I think) and Lizzo which was down to (@LjBroughton )
