I am really curious how Spotify filters their streams,cause even if a local who have no knowledge of proper streaming rules listens to the song twice in an hour with lots of fillers in between,those two streams should count though,we have done multiple trial & errors ourselves.

Because we don't know how thinks work and what is seen as a good stream or a bad stream by Spotify. Issues exist because things aren't transparent, but we can tweak our own approaches here and there too.

@vfxjimin Yup and spotify will never be transparent with their consumers about their filtering and streaming system cus that would mean admitting to accepting shady deals with record labels. if they ever do address it, theyll most likely dance around the issue and give us a vague answer.

suddenly improper streaming is an issue if the biggest fanbase on earth does it but a local looping a song bc they don’t know the “rules” of streaming suddenly counts? almost seems like it’s only applicable only to those who are aware & question the legitimacy of spotify’s rules
