I don’t know it’s an issue with AirPlay Connect and Spotify Connect conflicting, but they have some of the best engineers (obviously!) and it doesn’t take this long to even have a minimal solution. I’ll stop paying for Apple Music the day @Spotify add HomePod support.

@AppleMusic Just setup account. Worst digital purchase experience of my entire life. The most unnecessarily cumbersome system I've ever dealt with. What took me 2 mins on Spotify took an hour on Apple. That's a big issue on your end.
