@signalapp Hi, how can I remove a group member who has changed their phone number but the old number is still in the group? This presumably is why such groups are still ‘Legacy’ groups. Help

@signalapp @signalapp I have so much people that have Chinese smartphone Oppo Huawei Xiaomi ecc that don't receive notifications.. Unfortunately some people don't know how to solve these problems even if you explain how to do it. First cause of this problem is battery optimization

@dhirenmotilal @signalapp This is not a problem in providing data to get service, the problem is when it is taken from you without your knowledge, is shared with other, you can't delete it, you can't opt out, system is socially designed to mine data and feed you with information you didn't asked for.

The time take for the @signalapp to sync back from the desktop app to the mobile app is glacial. I use it for a few hours on my PC and when I open the app on my phone, it takes forever to download the messages, unlike Whatsapp. If you're in a busy group, heaven help you.

@dgkimpton @signalapp I think I've gotten all we'll get- a bundled Open Source keyboard would be nice, but I don't see it happening given Moxie's attitude so far. But in-app disclosure is just enough to help mitigate some of the worst outcomes. Shame they had to be so difficult about it.

@eurorecovery247 @signalapp Its not gonna be fixed because its not an issue... its because signal encrypts the phone calls, so when you get an unencrypted service such as your normal phone calls. It will terminate the encrypted signal to protect your conversation.

@DigitalKway @NHSDigital I’m a huge fan of Slack but not sure it’s right for everything. Teams could be great but issues with working across tenancies and local policies. Maybe an NHS version of @signalapp so benefits like WhatsApp but data under NHS control?

@signalapp I’m having problems getting notifications on iOS 14.4. Notifications only pop up when I open Signal. Oddly on iPadOS 14.4 they come through instantly. Is there any way to rectify this?

@signalapp This is my fifth time I am asking for the issue to be resolved, when I am on signal phone call and another normal phone comes, signal does not put me on hold, it disconnects, why!!?? This is a big issue

@AdamSculthorpe @signalapp @moxie There are two issues here. 1 did the user store the messages on his phone. 2 did they have a court order to install spyware on his phone. This is why we don't need to have encryption back doors.

@signalapp ...I've mentioned that Signal started to use the reCaptcha to verify if the users are robots. But reCaptcha isn't available in China(Blocked by the Chinese ISPs), which made Chinese users unable to login unless bypassing the ISPs' firewalls.
