  @ZainanZhou @signalapp Signal could design this product to create accounts without a phone number. It would better follow their "Privacy First" mission. But they didn't do that. And they don't publish a lengthy blog on this contradiction. This is an unforced error.

  @DrewHyatt8 @signalapp No way… The NSA would not have something this secure the algorithm cannot be broken no matter what… the guy who invented this form of encryption decided to make signal a foundation nonprofit… because it was better for the greater good of humanity than privatizing it… that’s how special it is And you know it’s true when entire governments can’t break the code… the only way they can get signals is by screenshots, but actually deciphering the encryption code. Nope, impossible for many reasons not even the NSA.

  @notesnook @signalapp Signal devs must lead the way leading other devs to takre control back. They should guide other devs. Yet they follow common protocols and win stupid prices like this. Then cry for Apple support to help them fix things. I expect better from Signal. (n/n)

  @signalapp These code nightmares are exactly what I might have a problem with, to every company. Hackers use more than computers to steal the codes and then make them unviable before usage. @Google A lot of code numbers went to me, but were not useable during the timeframe. They also tried to get past my brick my password trick. I'm thinking that the three enemies I have are a tad bit more than three, and there is one other one who throws valueable hardware into a single vat, just to cause pollution and degrade reality [hardware]. Their main goal was to make every single number code unuseable. Including auth timed numbers. That is all.

  PSA: purchased a phone number for @signalapp registration at @smspoolnet but the number got re-sold to a scammer else after 3 months. that person took over the signal account. super dangerous. terrible service guarantee by smspool and dangerous auth practice by signal . basically sim swapping without the social engineering. not your phone network, not your number (you can't own a mobile number).

  Signal is wild. I send a message and it arrives to the other person whenever Signal feels like it. Real-time messaging? More like 'eventually messaging.' WhatsApp with all its problems at least delivers in the present tense. @signalapp fix it
