I never thought I would be SO put out by a comms channel being down. I understand they're fixing as fast as they can and I'm not mad at them but damn does a LOT of my daily interaction with people go over @signalapp! Poor techs there. So much for them getting a 3-day weekend.

@terribletension @signalapp you don't want someone to judge you for installing Signal (a non-issue), prioritize your privacy over reaching them and delete them from your phone's contact list. Or, use burner phone + SIM for Signal. Also, usernames that fix this problem are coming this year.
