Marina (@marna_li) reported@signalapp All these policies make it seem like you are guilty until proven innocent. I have no problems if individual providers choose to scan for prohibited content, but when it's pushed by the government down to the implementation-level then it's control and mass-surveillance.

PiX (@pa1nark) reported@akashtiwari1007 @signalapp yup, every time i give a visit to reliance to buy something, they straight up ask for phone number and i reject it. they do try to fear monger stating i will not be able to to get refund or exchange if things go wrong (they did this to me for vegetables, not kidding). the list is long. i stopped using swiggy and zomato long back (tried once or twice back in 2021 or something and never again). i know, some of the people may find it weird, old school, but hey, to me, it is fun that way. apps like tata neu, blinkit and etc., i have never used! i tried porter only twice, horrible service (see my old tweets if interested - they just lie on face).

To ship it on the Apple App Store I'd need a §7 App Store additional permission for libsignal (you did this for an earlier library ). I've filed the details in a GitHub issue on the libsignal repo. Could I get it in front of the right person? My code's AGPL, full source published. Thanks for libsignal. 🙏

Notesnook (@notesnook) reported@signalvoyager @signalapp What's the mistake? Enabling notifications? This is not isolated to Signal. If it were then we'd have a problem. Every single app's notifications gets saved in a place and manner that is outside that app's control. There's no opt out. That is why Apple fixed it.

Old School (@CHiPs1988) reported@Apple Siri is horrible! Never gets it right. Try to dictate on CarPlay and it will cut you off. I message is horrible as well. The @signalapp is way better! @grok is great and always gets it right! Will even correct me sometimes and it was right! Hire English speaking people to teach IPhone to dictate properly. I’ve worked in the labs and I know who is working on the iPhones. This is the problem. “No Joke!”

Tim (@timderoode) reported@durov @durov the early OTF grants (2013-2016) for @signalapp are publicly documented. This might create a perception issue for its independence but doesn’t prove active/ongoing US gov backing or influence. Or you have other information?
