After update to 5.46.6 (direct APK) on #Android4 is @signalapp crashing at start. Re-instal didn't help.

@signalapp hi, I'm trying to change the phone number on my account. I follow the steps to get a verification code sent to my new phone, but it just says "error connecting to service" when I enter it on my old phone. Is this the verification service that's down?

@signalapp I tried to change my phone number with the received SMS verification code. But I kept receiving "Error connecting service". Is the service down?? Please help. P.S. Your dark theme has a problem showing the keypad for entering the verification code. I had to disable it.

This is a huge security problem and telegram should put extra login barriers to overcome this. Either 1. Give permission from the other devices to login 2. Or need a password to login to the account just like @signalapp Reported this vulnerability a week ago to telegram,

@signalapp your calling feature is pretty unreliable. Please let me know if you need help fixing it. The problems range from calls not ringing, not connecting, no audio, one-sided audio, audio being too quiet. Immediate switch over to WhatsApp or FaceTime = no problems.

@appleinsider I don’t understand how this article states that viable alternates are WhatApp, Messenger, Instagram, and Google Meet whose parent companies will literally sell your data for PENNIES. This is part of the problem! @signalapp is quite honestly the best alternative here.

@signalapp @twilio Too bad all your businesses involve obfuscating instead of educating so no one knows how to generate their own key pairs and use any messaging service with gpg. I have no reason to believe the key pairs you generate are secure either. You are all liars and this is just the tip.

@signalapp Re-registering in Signal, changing passwords, enabling registration lock - these do nothing to help the user whose phone number is now compromised. Should they get a new phone? Change every other login with a bad reg policy that required a real phone? Stop requiring traceable ID!
