@fatbird84577603 Are you refering to that -scale desktop-file hack? While I don't trust Telegram, their Qt-based desktop client is just a lot better suited for #LinuxPhones than @signalapp's non-responsive Electron app. While a few CSS hacks might help here, they would likely bring trust issues.

@dktatlow @signalapp The signal app encryption was not yet broken but if someone has physical access to the phone obviously that device is compromised. If you are targeted it means that you are under surveillance, usually this is done by trained professionals and in this field everything is allowed

Unlike other free E2E encrypted apps such as @signalapp and @WhatsApp, you don’t need a phone number to use the service. So, you buy the app once and you install it on your devices, or twice to cover Android. Each device will get it‘s own Threema ID

But this govt is not willing to accept and this spooked is done by Isreal company s/w it means data center not in India so it is national security issue as well.

@signalapp i've been a dedicated user since the beginning & i'm having a horrible time with read receipts. it causes a lot of confusion when things are marked as read when you haven't even opened the app, only pulled down the screen to the notification centre to see the time...

@rmcd0 @signalapp @LineageAndroid It ends up to be a work profile issue. I remove the work.profile and reinstalled Signal, it looks OK so far but I will need to make the Work profile working eventually, otherwise I will need to mix my pro and private contacts and other stuffs, I really don't like this.

@sillyposts @telegram @signalapp I haven't used Signal (but their encryption protocol is in WhatsApp), but as for Telegram... The only things I wish Telegram has (which WhatsApp doesn't have an issue with) is - critical mass (not everyone uses it regularly), and - governments blocking the app
