    @Vnxe90 @ring @amazon Yep before outage everything was fine and hardwired was working not sure what happened but I'm really annoyed about this.

    @ring Installed it Monday and now not working. Any idea when it will be sorted. Mine is wired yet saying battery is flat and no WiFi connection.

    @ring The service has been down for hours and the communication around this has been really poor. Understand things happen but surely keeping your customers updated is important.

    @ring I only bought mine today, shockingly bad resilience for a security system, explain to me why I shouldn't return these three cameras to the store as they are useless if your infrastructure can't cope?

    @G3nericUser @ring I was thinking the same thing lol. They've known about this quite large outage for some time, and this is the first public announcement of it... For such a widely used service, too.

    @ring why is it that now when I do live view the microphone is automatically turned on, previously I had to turn it on to speak to those at my door! This is since the outage today, how can I sort this out to how it was

    @akhan999 @RealJMurray @ring What a BULLSHIT - they did not plan for redundancy and failover because it is CHEAPER this way. And they don't care about outage - no penalties.

    @ring you can send out emails all the time to inform me of deals and whatnot, but you can only tweet about a known problem?! How about keeping us informed! So is this system even safe anymore? If you got hacked, how much info was lost?!

    @ring @ring How about an update on what’s going on, rather than a generic “we are looking into it”. Had a power outage today and had regular texts from the network controller explaining what’s going on and an ETA for a fix. Keep your paying customers informed !

    @Billy_5722 @ring They must have had a major issue and reset everything. But I just want everything how it was ASAP as I don't get Motion Alerts, Ring Alerts, and doesn't connect to Alexa. Firmware says unknown. Ring just says keep checking the Status website, but there is no change.

    @ring It's been out since ~6:30AM Pacific time. Now at 1:00PM you post something. Your support sucks and you not addressing a system wide outage until five hours in illustrates just how bad it is. Oh that and a 33% failure rate of your spotlight cameras.

    @ring @ring I can login to the app but I’m not receiving any notifications to my phone except for when a door is open. None of my motion detector alerts are working. When will this be fixed??? I can’t believe y’all dropped the ball like this the day before a holiday.

    @DouglasEBlake @schmassidy @ring I agree. I wasted my morning doing the same thing; even uninstalled the app which now I can’t log back into. Definitely need to find a way to provide notification to customers of a major outage like this that’s lasted all day.

    @ring You really should notify customers as soon as there's a widespread issue, be it email or text. The shear volume of wasted time trying to troubleshoot is insane.

    @ring do you know how long its going to take for you to fix your service my doorbell keeps saying the battery is dead (its fully charged) and my wifi signal is so poor my chime isnt working and the app is being spicy, HELP!

    @Billy_5722 @AlexMarleyUK @ring Same problem here, all ring devices are showing RSSI of 0 when our Wi-fi is fine? Also battery showing 100% when it was less than 50 yesterday!

    @b00ksnob @ring @amazon I have the same issue. Doorbell is hardwired and app shows its on battery so no charging anymore.. powersource is battery now. Before the outage is was wired. I hope this didn’t broke the whole thing...
