@ring Fix the app. Read the complaints on the App Store. I also pay for alarm monitoring but with the incompetent people making the app makes me concerned about my safety of how well the alarm monitoring works. I’ll be canceling and getting ADT.

@ring customer service is a complete joke. They stand behind their product and give you the runaround when you ask for help. If you need a security device don’t buy this one.

@ring Texting 2FA codes is the LEAST secure option! WTF do you think you are doing disabling emailed codes (comparatively secure) instead of texted codes‽ STOP FOCUSING ON HARVESTING MARKETING DATA AND START FOCUSING ON SECURITY!!! #ringinsecurity

  • logandcypher Logan D. Cypher (@logandcypher) reported

@ring your app logged me out, and when I log in it tells me to “open the app” to authenticate the login. How does that work? Y’all need to figure this out. 🧐

@ADT I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone for 3 days and I’m being transferred around to different departments and no one is helping me with my issue. I’ve been a customer for 10 years. This is beyond ridiculous. I’m one click away from ordering @ring.

I have a @ring home alarm and customer service honestly just told me to remove the sensor and buy two sided tape to reinstall it and fix the problem as opposed to sending me a new replacement sensor. Not a great look @amazon

@ring Just curious, do you not read the reviews on the Apple App store? Everyone is having issues with your app. When I arm my alarm it sends me notifications that motion is at my door, it also sends notifications hours after they happen. Your app is junk, fix it.

  • Dirtfoot1 NotMyThing (@Dirtfoot1) reported

Although annoying for missing the moment of actual action, the concern is that it records our neighbors getting into their cars every god damned time, but will miss the criminals climbing in our windows, stealing our stuff and kidnapping our kids. #WTF @Ring?

  • justinwhall Justin W Hall (@justinwhall) reported

@WieEinFuchs We got a @ring doorbell camera largely so we can ignore solicitors. That being said, I have no problem saying nah man, not interested and closing the door.

@ring The update you did today is crap. It’s slow and won’t stream motion detection alerts. The live is choppy and doesn’t connect right away. The motion alerts streaming black or not at all. It happening to others I know since 12:30 with update rollout. The CS chat has no idea
