@churchmouse22 hi Kathryn, I had the same problem, and I found a solution. No Optus helper suggested clearing the "Sent" box (mentioned in some support texts). Clear old unimportant "Sent" messages. My box went from 478 Mb down to 18 Mb

So first I get done by the @optus data breach (hadn't been a customer for years) & now the @medibank / AHM breach (haven't been a customer in 2yrs) 🙄 already changed my number due to massive spam increase #auspol

@ClareONeilMP Or you can move to another provider that has not given your PII away...so if you are contacted you will know for sure it is the hackers trying to scam you. I was a customer of both @Optus and @medibank...not anymore.

@abcnews Funny I don’t recall hearing anything from the eSafety commissioner re the recent Optus & Medibank hacks. Be prudent for the commissioner to focus on private companies data retention & privacy issues rather than writing to Musk about ‘content moderation’

@Optus I did receive information about network upgrades in my area. That doesn’t mean existing customers should be left in cold without adequate backup arrangements. Have you thought of the effects on businesses that rely on connectivity?
