    @perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

    .@TPG_Telecom Trying to port my TPG no from TPG’s Optus to Vodaphone network. Spent countless hrs calling helpdesk every day, talked to supervisiors, waited days for engineers to investigate. Been waiting 20 DAYS, still not working. This is ridiculous. Fix this!!

    @optus can’t call me and I can’t call them because I don’t have either a business or a personal line. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Do we have any options that don’t leak peoples private data to randoms in Australia? How absolutely incompetent and stupid.

    As an @optus customer I haven’t received any correspondence regarding the data breach and have no idea if my data has been compromised.

    Optus then decided after over 90 mins of explaining myself multiple times to different people on chat, I’d need to wait for a call. That call happened, it was from the wrong department. So they had to transfer me. After 2 hours I got some help. “So what can we do today?” 🤯

    @scottjla @ripcripz @jasonjordan The fact Optus should never have allowed the API to be accessible via a raw enumerated contact I'd in the first place doesn't negate the fact that using the API in an unauthorized fashion was hacking.

    As a former Optus customer, this #OptusHack is so frustrating given Australians do not have any right to delete our personal information even after we dump a useless telco. Other countries have a right to delete. Why not us? Our privacy laws are hopeless.

    @jarjargabor @mariewalsh18 What is the date range? I was an Optus customer for 20 years until 2015, but obviously no longer have @optus email account and not sure if Optus have my mobile.
