@JustJul77588855 @Urchin_LMS Also wondering if changing phone numbers and emails might help?? Surely Optus now has to allow people to get new numbers. The other concern is ppl getting a new sim attached to your account !!!

@Jolivins @websyd @ianbfarquhar Secondly, why wasn't data ranked?. PP & DL data should require a diff level of access. Optus & big companies cannot hide behind oh look there is a bad thief out there. Their process is a joke. No amount of PR/Spin can hide it.

@Optus What do we do if all out details have been leaked? I received your email informing me that all my details including drivers license, email, phone no, date of birth and address have all been leaked. 😡 How do we protect ourselves now? This is really poor on your end. 😡

@SueBarrett @agarner @MsRonnyB It blows my mind that in running an unauthenticated API, on a test network - that was internet enabled; that they didn’t use a test database. To have the API accessing live production data of actual customers is unforgivable. TI #Optus #StuffUp

@LovelockEdward @strangerous10 @softhardworker The three or four times I've been in the telstra shop the service has been so bad I've never gone with them, the girl in my local Optus shop is a very helpful genius and the plans are a fair bit cheaper so I don't really want to move.

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Why was this sensitive information not put into a separate network area with access only from certain applications and why was it not encrypted? I can't change my dob which is the usual question to identify me. #OptusDataBreach

@Jolivins @websyd @ianbfarquhar Never do they ask for passport no. Ok even better how about allocating the customer a unique number or card that only the customer and Optus know. Esp after the massive Marriott Hotels expose of passports inconceivable they kept these details. 1/n
