    @optus WHY should I keep my unlisted landline on? I get unsolicited span calls on it EVERY damn day you don't have report number or traceback number to call, pretty useless in my view

    @Optus Thanks, Meg. Have spoken to Optus staff via messaging. Confirmed it is an attempted scam. On Optus recommendation have reported to Scamwatch, your staff member is also going to raise the issue internally. Bit sophisticated, a call accompanied by an SMS with an "activation code"!
