Hey @amaysimAU & @Optus, We're having a terrible time trying to connect to mobile data in Pike River, SA. This is happening on an Optus dongle with an amaysim sim (previous OVO-device came with the sim) & an iPhone with an Optus sim. The devices had been turned on & off. Help!

Oh @Optus no wonder you're net profits are taking a hit. Terrible ADSL connection speeds for the princely sum of $85 pm. Yet found out from one of your service team @NBN_Australia has been in our area since March for $75 pm! A paltry $10 off for the next 6 months. Hello @Telstra

@dats_moy Full disclosure. I used to wotk at Optus but even I had enough of their dropouts etc. I switched mobiles and broadband to Telstra 5yrs ago and never looked backed. More expensive, but worth it. Optus just too damned unreliable and unstable.

@Optus our mobile broadband speed has significantly reduced in the last week to near unusable (1Mbps) even though it's in the same spot as usual and no reported issues (Balmain Sydney). In the past it was super fast level. Any suggestions?
