    @Optus I just phoned tech support for an unlock code, the guy on the phone does not understand plain English and transferred me to wrong dept. They told me to phone tech support back. Talk about incompetence. Ffs improve your services

    @footscarey @ZiptieZoe lol so basically: Resimbursements* (* Conditions apply) Man, **** Optus in the eye. I’m not with them, haven’t been for years and will steer clear of them for good.

    IT Teams should not be hung out to dry when it comes to protecting customer information. Incidents from #optus and #medibank are not failings in Cyber Security. They are failings in Information Security. Information Security is the responsibility of senior management.

    @annachang @pollyjhemming Oh that's bad. How could they use real names and photos? Or are they leaking data like Optus & Medibank?

  • jonkloske Jon Marnock (@jonkloske) reported

    My wife, an #optus and #medibank customer: "Burn Notice made this all look a lot harder than apparently it was." "MY NAME IS MICHAEL WESTEN.." "...yes, we know - we have your name, address, phone number, medicare number, medical history, drivers license, and passport details."

    Imagine being an Optus AND Medibank customer about now...

  • PipierSt Pipier ST (@PipierSt) reported

    @9NewsAUS My passport, driving licence, home adress, phone number, and my children's passports as well were all exposed. So what precisely is Optus hiding? The level of bad security and dangerous leaking they have exposed me/my family? Whom will take the blame? I suffered bc of it greatly.

  • DrR_Wortley Dr Robert Wortley (@DrR_Wortley) reported

    If your an Optus prepaid customer Optus are currently allowing you to unlock your device from the Optus Network at no charge allowing you to use any sim card. To do this simply text menu to 9999 and follow the prompts.

    @Jeremy_Kirk @medibank @AusFedPolice Any advice for a medibank/optus customer at this point? 😵💀

  • VK4VIP Brandon Gordon (@VK4VIP) reported

    @Optus Nah there are no issues in my area This problem has been happening since you guys launched your 900mhz LTE network here, you guys either need to turn it off or work out a way for it to work properly
