Optus shall held responsible for poor data management & lack of CyberSecurity. They given away all private and critical customer info (Passport, DL, Names etc.) And asking customers to keep eye on suspicious activities. NOT acceptable. 👎

@StephenJonesMP What about this one??? Why is it always the future with you people and never the ' now'??? The govt should be hammering Optus and ensure all scams will have repercussions on Optus not its customers. Grow a spine for a change and stop being dictated to by big business

Min. Clare O'Neil said in Parliament, (paraphrasing) ‘the Optus data breach should not have happened & called on the company to offer free services to monitor customer accounts for fraud.’ Hope this leads to tighter regulations & fines in this area. #Auspol #OptusHack

@samishah @Optus I left Optus perhaps 4 years ago and I still got caught up in it. Will never be a customer with them again.
