  @Optus The tests that my gateway perform are using the ethernet connection. The service has the same number of devices connected when it was functioning at full speed. Don't give me bullshit when we both know the service is degraded.

  Originally was told by someone at Optus Store that I didn’t need to anything, just take modem, plug, update address and away I go. Then multiple people (7 in all) on your online chat service told me multiple things.

  @newjerseydamo That's rather odd Damo, I have just tested out my own Optus App and have managed to get through with no issues. If you could please make sure you have the latest version as well updated i0s, this should get you through. Give those a shot and see how you go -Quade

  @ozcjr @Rachel_Organa So we can't get NBN here. South Brisbane/West End fibre situation is a bit of a **** show. We've been on 4G Broadband with Optus. Speeds have been a bit shifty but lately ATROCIOUS & tech support at Optus pretty much just told us to tap out.

  @Optus NBN is complete rubbish. It’s been days of drop outs and poor connection. I’m done. Customer service is appalling. I’ll be switching. Anybody got alternatives they’ve been happy with?

  It's so stupid that if you need help with something with Optus, you have to call them or enter a message conversation. They literally don't have an email account. I want to send you details to fix something, not have a chat at 11 at night

  @Optus Thanks Quade, see previous tweet. Can’t get to the troubleshooting link due to lack of reception. Same problem with Telstra. Newspaper article says Optus was putting up a tower in Charlestown. That was my original question, but it’s been lost in this conversation.
