@Fingoth1 Optus aren’t paying the Equifax rack rate. They will have negotiated a bulk price, perhaps as little as $1 per customer. The suggestion they would trash their reputation to give a credit protection service a leg up is bizarre.

@pauldutton1968 @ClareONeilMP I got my email at 6pm 27/9. I ceased my account with Optus in July 2020. I left them because of bad customer service!

@hughriminton The SA Premier has announced that those affected by the Optus hack can get new drivers licenses free of charge. Costs will be passed onto Optus and Feds should do the same. As an Optus customer and ex employee, I hope that they are financially shafted for their lack of security.
