We are now relying on Optus, who have given various stories of how this breach happened, to be honest with & tell people their personal details were stolen. Seeing Optus have to reimburse states for the new IDs, they don't have much incentive to be honest

OPTUS yous disgust me. you won’t even tell me whether you have sold off my identity. i’ve been waiting 12 hours for a response got through to someone then they ghosted. yous should hang your heads in shame. and your CEO has the never to not resign 🤬 yous are a new level of dirt.

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Hacked. Receiving calls from numbers whom state they didnt call. I went to optus to close account only to be told NO, wtf Optus. I want my details deleted! No longer a customer, u have no right to keep all my previous addresses, emails. I saw the screen, suing optus to force you!

@AmyRemeikis I’d been with Virgin mobile since about 2005 and was ported over to Optus about 4 yrs ago when they ditched Virgin. I’ve never directly given Optus any of my details and don’t use their app and I still got caught up in it! It’s complete BS 🤬
