The Optus security fail has only just begun. There's no way all 10 million files have been deleted. 🙄 If Optus hasn't paid the ransom it's because the hackers have found another buyer. IT'S TIME that corporations are RESTRICTED from the amount of personal info they can ask for!

@jasonjordan The word hack minimises the perception that Optus were blatantly negligent in securing this data.. It gives the impression that some evil hacker infiltrated their network when in fact they left production data available on the internet with no security..
