@ServiceNSW Yes, that's the page I was looking at. It says, "Customers will receive notifications from Optus on the necessary remediation activities in relation to their driver licences." Not great that we are told to rely on the company who caused the problem in the first place.

  • PBorWall 💧Les Corson (@PBorWall) reported from Warragul, State of Victoria

@nadinevoncohen Still waiting to see if I'm caught up in this sorry saga. Former Optus customer (5 years ago)

  • wfmwk Tracey Bradley (@wfmwk) reported

@Brentus88 @Optus Besides corporations, it’s also websites, even apps. They all insist we supply our data and we have no assurances they have the proper security in place #fail

  • udovda udovda (@udovda) reported

@Optus @Pap7771 Is there any ETA on this issue? This has been occurring for the past 2-3 days.

  • ozriotgrrl Annie (@ozriotgrrl) reported

@PeterDutton_MP Optus is YOUR government’s failure. Not the new one’s. Trying to turn Optus F up into a ALP problem is incredibly *****. But thanks for reminding Australians about the 9 years you all sat on your fat arses & did literally nothing. Nothing at all. #UselessLNP

  • madrugada007 💧Ingo Weber (@madrugada007) reported

@montaguethecat @mattjcan Yup. That’s what they said 20 years ago too. Speaking of Tech: Optus lobbied previous government not to strengthen privacy laws as “there is no problem with info digi tech, tech has changed “…. Just saying.

  • bruceguthriegca Bruce Guthrie (@bruceguthriegca) reported

@AlboMP @SenatorWong @ClareONeilMP The backlog in the passport office is bad enough as it is. Thanks Optus.

Life's been too stressful right now, fortunately, I'm going away for a week in 3 days. In the meantime, I'm working hard to protect myself from hackers. There's been a data breach with our phone service provider, and I had to switch to another one. Such bullshit. **** Optus.

  • svict4 Simon Victory (@svict4) reported

Justine Gough of @AusFedPolice: "Cyber crime is the break-and-enter of the 21st century" 🤦 Need better digital literacy at all levels. It's illegal leave a car unlocked or with the windows down when the motorist is away from the car right? @Optus left the door ******* wide open

  • ReeDiamond2 Ree Diamond (@ReeDiamond2) reported

@humma49 yep .. stood in line for ages this morning to change my licence/optus thank you, and it really could have been done over the phone or on line by sending the optus communication and they just issue the same pic ... instead we have to wait in line and have more photos taken ..
