@GordyPls At the very least optus can pay to have passports replaced. They can stop acting as if it’s the customers problem to solve. Their crisis comes are horrendous

@CaraMia200 I think Optus should pay what it takes to sort this out, hand balling it back to the customer saying the customer needs to keep an eye on their accounts etc is nonsense, in business you do you job properly or pay for your mistakes, Gladys is 2IC it’s got LNP stench about it

So those impacted by the Optus "hack" are now being offered to sign up to the Govt's free credit monitoring system. The Govt will monitor your credit free for 12 months, just login and enter your personal details. WHAT A ******* JOKE!!!!!

Hey @AmandaRishworth @PMalinauskasMP @TKoutsantonisMP, I'm a victim of the Optus data breach, have spent hours on phone securing everything. Been advised I can't change license number with Service SA. Urgent legislation change required, will you please step up? #Optus

@joshgnosis @mhgoremau357 Optus had security issues months ago with the My Optus accounts, couldn't recharge via your personal account link back in April 2022. Was considered a 'risky site' & McAfee blocked recharges.

@AnthonyLucas30 @Optus That’s a stop gap solution for just 12 months though. I think Optus should do the right thing here and compensate us for obtaining new passports and licenses. It’ll give us much better peace of mind to have ID docs with new numbers and dates.

@VicRoads @VicGovDoT Memo to CIO’s who contract, out ICT. FO, and when you get there FO again. No loyalty, not around for consequences. 2 of the worst people I have ever come across have been snapped up by Optus.

@Raf_Epstein @ClareONeilMP Cost of restitution at scale for almost 10m people could be averaged at a cost of $500 per person for at scale services: credit reporting and blocking, replacement passports, widespread DL renumbering, etc. would need fed gov support and oversight to achieve. $5bill to @Optus
