  • PJW719 PJW719 (@PJW719) reported

@Optus so where is the personal contact on how you are supporting those of us that have been affected. You send and email, no phone call no financial support to assist with constant credit checking, no waving of bills for months or even a month for your lack lustre security.

  • dclenihan 💉💉💉💉Dave L (@dclenihan) reported

@RNBreakfast @karenandrewsmp Let's increase penalties for companies with poor data integrity procedures. Optus is now the George Brandis of tech companies.

  • ServiceNSW Service NSW (@ServiceNSW) reported

@cosmicmystere Hi Liss, ID Support NSW is working with Optus to support customers with NSW government-issued credentials, such as a NSW driver licence or birth certificate, if they have been impacted. 1/2

******* dead the more i read into the optus data breach the more i am shocked by how ******* incompetent a large corporation can be with customer data… open API using **** database information??? who ******* approved that PR????

  • austories austories (@austories) reported

@Optus @RunnerSA18 That is the very least that customers would expect. I would appreciate a text ASAP telling me which security risk category I am in so I can take more appropriate action. I get texts for bills, and data use why not for this much more important issue?

  • channelap Andrew (@channelap) reported

@Optus Still no communication! Wtf #OptusDataBreach

  • BrissyDan Dan (@BrissyDan) reported

@Optus email. Dear customer, we've got great news! No unauthorised persons have been able to access your bank account details........The bad news is unauthorised persons have all the details from your identity documents so they can just create their own bank accounts. #OptusHack

  • ZhaoWuMing14 Zhao Wu-ming 💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉 (@ZhaoWuMing14) reported

Are @Optus paying driver’s licence replacement fees for people that had that data stolen and now need to get a new one? Or are they just pretending like their customers have no out of pocket expenses for the massive trouble their hack has caused? #OptusHack #optusfail

  • Hugh_96 Hugh_96 (@Hugh_96) reported

Still find it odd that a communications company @optus has yet to contact me about this whole hacking issue - not a word via email, SMS or through My Optus account. Can't believe I'm saying this but thank goodness for the media & twitter
