@abc730 Australia's population is approx 25.8 million. Approx 4.8 million are under 15 yrs old. Optus has compromised the reputation & safety of nearly half the over 15 yr old population in Australia. I'm hoping the government imposes huge fines on Optus as reparation for damage caused.

@Optus #OptusDataBreach so my partner who was a customer with you in 2016 has been notified about the data breach, but I was a customer up to a year ago and still can’t find out if my data has been compromised.

@westaustralian @katinacurtis Why? It’s the stupid federal government that requires telcos like @Optus to hold this sensitive KYC identifying information in the first place.

@3AWNeilMitchell Why? This is an Optus problem. Why are we covering for a company owned by Singapore?

@SassFred We write our Medicare num at our GP. Write our passport number on our landing card. Speak our license number for verification for every service. Optus is rightly getting roasted. But it’s like my mates moaning about checking in and being tracked. We are being tracked everywhere.
