@Optus @RunnerSA18 Anyone upset by the piss poor response from Optus should tell the Optus CEO how pathetic their response has been. Here's her number +61404045420

I believe my passport expired close to 20 years ago. Surely a cursory check would have revealed that I am still an @Optus customer & how long do these companies hold on to our data in any case?

@therebelrise Oh wow that must feel bad. I used to work with Telstra and had people moving back and forth different providers and Optus was the preferred provider, not sure how they'll compensate as apology is just not enough.

@CyberGovAU If Optus rings someone to speak with them regarding the beach, how can the customer know they are really speaking to Optus?

@RobertCawood2 I still have heard a thing from optus. They are well overdue to address their entire customer base.

Thanks @Optus you have confirmed that indeed I have compromised documents, and your fix is to have me use public money for a document replacement and a subscription for @Equifax who them selves suffered a breach of 166M customer records. A comedy that writes itself.

So @Optus send me a letter basically stating that as a former customer they regret to inform me that everything but my financial records has been breached. Well done @Optus but the concern is that 1) I am still an Optus Customer for mobile. 2) They referred to passport details
