@tazgecko @ownedbyhoundies @hughriminton I have been with them for years. Still no contact, no reassurance, no advice. Just ignorant silence. Day after day. Funny, when my internet connection went down for 5 minutes 2 days ago Optus emailed promptly offering help that was by then not needed. What are they good for?

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Hi Optus , you are not the easiest company to contact. What is your time frame for contacting customers who have been hacked? How will you contact them ? Will we be notified what exactly needs to be updated Eg passport, drivers license etc .Can we cancel contract penalty free ?

@VictorDominello Where - comprehensive advises? You didn't mentioned Equifax-Optus should have notified all impacted Cust 2 register. Why Optus failed to encrypt all these data, never responded to Spam mail received through Optus, ACMA advised ISPs to monitor, Track & block spammers, CEO-Jailed.

The NSW, Queensland and Victorian governments will offer the victims of the Optus hack cheap or free licence replacements, **** that why should i pay for it make optus pay @Optus

@joshgnosis So do Optus & other orgs validate IDs using the govt DVS? Then a tick against a customer record is enough & numbers don’t need to be kept My question is what checks the govt undertakes to confirm companies accessing the DVS to validate IDs can keep that info secure

Apparently they are consulting FBI to help catch Optus data kid. It’s the Optus people that need a severe talking to not the kid. They left the door open.
