So, today happy not to be an #Optus customer, but tomorrow, #Telstra are you listening? #abc730

  • GlenCodes Glen Codes 👸🏻💐 (@GlenCodes) reported

@Optus @RunnerSA18 I have a question. And please consider it seriously. Why did a number of developers use that test platform and not one of them, not one, raised the alarm that the platform was locked down with the most basic of security? This is a serious systemic failure. Multiple fail points.

  • GravRed M.Redgrave (@GravRed) reported

Speaking as an Optus customer, I am so glad that Fletcher or Fifield are not responsible for dealing with this problem. Unlike O'Neil, they would have been acting as an extension of Optus PR & figuring out ways of shovelling money at the telcos to "solve the problem". #abc730

  • AndiSebastian1 Andi Sebastian (@AndiSebastian1) reported

@ClareONeilMP seems on the ball. Not so @optus I wd like them to suspend my payments until they inform me exactly what damage I may have suffered. And find and fix the problem #cybersecurity

  • GlenCodes Glen Codes 👸🏻💐 (@GlenCodes) reported

@Optus I have a question. Why did a number of developers use that test platform, and not one of them, not one, raised the alarm that the platform was very obviously not locked down with the most basic of security? This is a serious systemic failure. Multiple fail points.

  • JustinRThiessen Justin Thiessen (@JustinRThiessen) reported

Did you agree to the non-mandatory conditions in the phone service contract? Or did you tick the box labeled "Optus Out"?

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported

@AlboMP Given data breach at @Optus perhaps fed. & state gov’ts should immediately issue new passports and drivers licences to the 2.4 m people who are most affected while they can still prove who they are. And Optus should pay for it. @Dom_Perrottet get to work on new licences

  • ccanonne_ Clément Canonne (@ccanonne_) reported

Joke's on you, Optus, I never had a driving licence for you to lose. #privacybreach

  • David_Paul_B David P (@David_Paul_B) reported

@abc730 @ClareONeilMP Yep.. For example, I would like to know whether the information exposed was only of direct Optus customers, or whether it also included customers of MVNO’s (eg Dodo, Amaysim, Coles, iPrimus, iiNet etc) who run on the Optus network.

  • cavanaugh629 James Cavanaugh (@cavanaugh629) reported

@max_i_girl @diannemuterbig2 @abcnews Karen was made look silly in QT. Then asked to go to ABC and talk about Optus breach. What a crap shows now on the ABC.
