    @slamup As I sit here with 50 odd people ahead of me changing their licences, **** YES!!!! the least #Optus can do is wipe our last bill as some kind of apology. I absolutely lost my **** when the operator mentioned my o/due bill before giving me the equifax code.

    Call my cynical, but I just wonder if Optus will up their prices down the track as a result of the cost involved in all these passport replacements I'm reading about. I think it's now over $300 to get a passport.

    @cambuslangtrain @LennaLeprena My apologies. I didn't mean to be personal. The reason I asked is I pay Optus by BPay and hidden in their account charges is an amount for not using direct debit. I have lodged a complaint with them and if I get a negative response I am going to report it to the ombudsman.

    Optus releasing to the media that all data was encrypted is the biggest load of crap. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to download the data and see all personal details in clear text.

    @jurdman Feel ya, @jurdman Optus told me it would be $350 bucks to cancel, & them screwing up wasn't against there terms. They they won't waive it lol

    @ShibaBaggins @7NewsMelbourne @Optus the legislation is already terrible, the reason so many ex customers got caught is that a recent legislation passed a few years ago mandates keep all of your data for a MINIMUM of 6 years after you leave, and you have no right to request they delete it.

    @hughriminton I'm an optus customer and I'm liking the idea of cancelling my direct deduction until I get written assurance that it is safe to provide new banking details.
