  • DodoAustralia Dodo (@DodoAustralia) reported

    @Cherie_L___ Hi Cherie, Dodo customers have not been impacted by the Optus cyberattack. While we use the Optus network as a provider for our mobile phone services, we can reassure our customers that their personal information is managed securely by us and is not shared with Optus. (1/2)

  • therealdanpoli Dan Poli (@therealdanpoli) reported

    @Optus CEO rejecting accusations that the hack was 'unsophisticated'. Tell me how accessing customer data through an unsecured API is a sophisticated breach? Smells a lot like negligence. How many days did it go undetected? Also, where's my email?

  • GpbartlettP Gerald P Bartlett (@GpbartlettP) reported

    @elonden @Optus Poor choice of words - #OptusDataProtectionFail

  • norbs Todd Norbury (@norbs) reported

    Asked whether Optus should face new laws to punish cyber offences with fines in the tens of millions, Bayer Rosmarin said: "I'm not sure that penalties benefit anybody." They sure as **** liked them when I was with them. #optusisshit

  • therevmountain Wes Mountain (@therevmountain) reported

    @mathaiaus What's the threat though? You can do that without paying, tbh. I'm also an Optus customer

  • JoeySwoops BDESwoops (@JoeySwoops) reported

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 It’s been 4 days since the attack and I’ve had nothing but no caller id’s hassle my phone. THEN I’m hearing of the hacker willing to release 10,000 peoples data per day! This is the worst service

  • EnLieten_ Dan 🇦🇺 (@EnLieten_) reported

    @Jeremy_Kirk @BrettCallow Post taken down guys ? Did @Optus pay up?

  • SusanLa69642683 Susan (@SusanLa69642683) reported

    @lesstenny Unless you are an Optus customer or former customer who had their personal details stolen like me! We have to monitor everything online closely to know when someone has taken over accounts etc.

  • GoferCough Gofer Cough (@GoferCough) reported

    @CunningInsights Optus should not have retained identification data. Once a new customer is identified, the data used for identification should be purged. Even if it needed to be retained, it should have been encrypted.

  • raywilton4 Ray Wilton 💧 (@raywilton4) reported

    Lnp govts & Corporation like Optus, Qantas & the crooked gambling corporations who never see the inside of a gaol, go cheap setting up their greedy processes & the customers pay too much for dangerous products & services. Theres no end to these disasters. Pity the customers.
