EVDownunder (@ev_downunder) reported@strangebaaza @RjeyTech Well, I beg to differ. My previous fold 4, S22 ultra, fold 6, the current fold 7 and s26 ultra all had or have green line screen issues while my iPhone 12 pro, iPhone 14 pro max and 16 pro max still going strong, no issues whatsoever. All cost pretty much the same but Samsung quality is subpar, and service is shite. I still ordered the fold 8 as currently it is available for $0 via Optus Harvey Norman Australia. Bet you, it will also likely have this screen issue. No matter what Samsung does, somehow manages to create overpriced paperweights.

V (@VDejan0000) reported@NoticerNews Same reason for the recent Optus outage. This woke CEO & Labor government needs to swing.
-
allyann (@me_allyann) reported@hardenuppete @originenergy They should be forced to pay for credit tracking for each customer that has had their account hacked for 12 months like Optus had to with Equifax.
-
cra0 (@cra0_net) reported@satoshigoy @Optus AusAlert isn’t delivered through @Optus. On LTE, the cell sends a Paging indication 'cmas-Indication-r9' then the warning itself is broadcast in SIB12. A working SIM or successful network registration is not required.

John Lang (@jdhlang) reported@EVERALDATLARGE Agree Everald. Yes there was a system fault, and yes 000 Failed. And Yes after the Optus problems the Labor Minister for Communication put in place to hopefully fix the problem. Calling for government to leave is a bridge too far. It will take time to fix. It’s not down every day

Peter Lewis (@Peter_Lewis747) reported@theheraldsun Telstra’s outage affected many states but Victoria’s train network was most affected. Why more than other states? State government stuff up. Optus has had outages too so you shouldn’t be fully reliant on these telcos.

No Shenanigans 😉 (@evanste46409034) reported@strangerous10 The Optus CEO fell on her sword after their nationwide outage a couple of years ago. The Telstra head might go the same way. What were they thinking, laziness, or just penny-pinching.
