    @ShaynnaBlaze @Optus I’m a former customer (6-12months) and my data was still taken 🫠

  • tardis3 tardis3 (@tardis3) reported

    @danielbowen I was an @Optus broadband customer until 2020, and I only received their apology email today

  • csb02174941 csb (@csb02174941) reported

    @PeterTOWNSV1LLE Optus doesn't require medicare numbers! It depends on what docs people choose for 100 points of ID. The problem is because Federal legislation requires telcos to vet customers identification at 100 points level!

  • Keith28761064 Keith (@Keith28761064) reported

    @VictorDominello The trouble is that we don’t know if we’re affected. As far as we know everyone should change DL number. It’s a queasy feeling not knowing, the govt should do everyone for free - then charge back to Optus. The delay is crushing.

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 I got informed today. I will never be a part of Optus again

  • BadlyDrawnRL Badly Drawn Rugby League (@BadlyDrawnRL) reported

    @malb Have they had an account with a company that runs their service via Optus? Eg Woolworths Mobile (in the past). This would be exposing data that they would require the initial company to collect for them. So not just data from random ppl. Hope that helps.

  • travelbizzau D Taylor (@travelbizzau) reported

    @drvyom Serious question here, if you were a past customer and have changed email and phone number since you were with Optus, how can the company guarantee 100% that they have been in contact with every compromised customer who may have been exposed to the hack. Just not possible ….

    @mjrowland68 I used to do planning for this stuff (incident response) including PR and engagement plans. We would professional categorise Optus' response as being: a complete f*cking train wreck.

    @7NewsAdelaide @MarkMcGowanMP @TransportWAgov #OptusDataBreach #optus #OptusHack Looks like NSW, VIC and SA are helping out with new licence numbers? When is WA going to help?
