@sussanley @AlboMP The same “cyber workforce” that had a huge customer security hack this week because your Govt thought that enlisting ex Optus employee Paul Fletcher as Communications Minister in 2020 was a “great fit”?

@Kerri_Guy @nadinevoncohen @Optus Same here. I think I’ve spent at least 7 hours on the chat the last few days still unable to get any help

@hughriminton Received 'the email'. Have been a customer for more than 20 years. I'm off contract soon. Not really sure what to do though, as a #hack could happen to any organisation in a world where everything is digital... The lack of communication from #Optus is a major fail.

OPTUS, Australia largest telecommunication provider has a massive data breached, and ransomware for data. This is the ever-worst data breached for them. Company said this was a sophisticated attack. Hackers revealed about 10m customers data which is 40% of population.

@theprojecttv Not customers fault, yet they are the ones doing all the leg work to fix the mess they caused and the owners of Optus not even communicating to anyone what is happening or how they will go about to fix the problem.

@abc730 @arielbogle Onlime tenancy, rental and property management software is collecting more extensive personal data than Optus, including birth certificates, passports and personal histories. Let's hope they are doubling down on cyber security.

@redruby17 @Optus @Equifax It’s stupid to create bottlenecks and unnecessary stress when it’s time critical. It needs to be done efficiently and the way it’s being dealt with atm is chaotic.
