@Optus This is why forcing people to give you auto payment details is selfish and stupid. You left a loop hole in your security and now people are at Risk. People should be able to use manual payments as you cant even provide security. #OptusHack #OptusClassAction

Imagine hackers taking out loans in your name because they could prove your details ..! I wouldn't be surprised if Optus isn't getting ready for a class suit ...

@newscomauHQ Hi all I received a email today from Optus telling me my information has been compromised. Can someone please tell me have they broken their terms of contract due to my private information being stolen. As to any contract you have a duty of care and this has been compromised

If it is true it is hardly a cyber attack on Optus if they allowed their production database to connect to their test network. It’s plain and simple stupid.
