    The short version of the previous thread is I don't know why my details are in the Optus breach when I haven't been a customer between 2017 and now. #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach

  • ShakaOz Some Guy (@ShakaOz) reported

    @Optus This is why forcing people to give you auto payment details is selfish and stupid. You left a loop hole in your security and now people are at Risk. People should be able to use manual payments as you cant even provide security. #OptusHack #OptusClassAction

  • ReeDiamond2 Ree Diamond (@ReeDiamond2) reported

    @Marilynrules1 @abcnews yep ... they were .. :( ... it will be a HUGE problem for the country if name, birth, Drivers licences, were taken. Imagine hackers taking out loans in your name because they could prove your details ..! I wouldn't be surprised if Optus isn't getting ready for a class suit ...

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 Optus - I would like to cancel my contract with you. (Without penalties). Can you advise where I can send the phone back to please? Let’s cut ties for the sake of both of us.

    @LukePGavin @Optus Piss poor

  • mowog Simon Cocking (@mowog) reported

    @Optus “Upon discovering the cyberattack, we immediately took action to shut it down to protect your information” … which you already leaked. You can’t take that back, y’know? A question: why were you continuing to hold highly sensitive PII of EX CUSTOMERS?

  • Shiba131300 Bill (@Shiba131300) reported

    @newscomauHQ Hi all I received a email today from Optus telling me my information has been compromised. Can someone please tell me have they broken their terms of contract due to my private information being stolen. As to any contract you have a duty of care and this has been compromised

  • deantregenza Dean (@deantregenza) reported

    @JPMasters @Jeremy_Kirk @Optus I just received a "Dear former Optus customer" email. It should be noted that I was a former customer of the Optus subsidiary Virgin Mobile.

  • jasons_tweet Jason  🇹🇼 (@jasons_tweet) reported

    If it is true it is hardly a cyber attack on Optus if they allowed their production database to connect to their test network. It’s plain and simple stupid.

  • AshrafIshak11 Ashraf Ishak (@AshrafIshak11) reported

    @clarkes @emmaandollie @Optus Compensation for accountability, irresponsible conduct and poor security on a global scale that will have our personal ID details sold world wide on the dark web & there has to be immediate changes for how much ID these companies can legally require
