Hey @Telstra, any enticements to help transition @Optus customers as they flee the sinking ship?

  • bopeep99999 Grzaa (@bopeep99999) reported

Hilarious! @karenandrewsmp (y'know, the one who tried to rig an election by releasing "on water matters" on election day) blames the govt for failures in Optus IT dept. Having done **** all herself for 10 years 👏 So great @abcnews finds endless airtime for these people. #auspol

@Optus In order for victims to protect themselves from your lack of security. They need to change their licence and passport numbers. To do this you need to provide the police incident number and or the cyber report receipt ASAP. I am one of those millions affected

@ShiannonC Close them down would be a good start. I am sure that if you look back this is not the first time optus has stuffed up.

@ClareONeilMP Agree that responsibility rests with optus.. but unfortunately, it can be even australian govt inplace of optus… real problem behind is Australian govt trying to increase workforce in cyber security through immigration or anyother ways?@ClareONeilMP

@heidimur Nor should it, Heidi. We’re at risk of losing everything because of Optus’ total ineptitude at keeping our private details, well, private. I’m a former customer but my details from 6 years ago were stolen. All of them. I’ve spent half the day changing details on accounts.

  • JulieHailey19 Julie Hailey (@JulieHailey19) reported

Karen Andrews is attacking Clare O'Neil about the Optus hacking. The LNP seem to have forgotten that their fallen princess, Gladys B, is a senior executive of Optus, a PRIVATE ENTERPRISE. Why is it the government's responsibility? (BTW, I am a nervouse Optus customer).

  • jsleeio jsleeio (@jsleeio) reported

@GpbartlettP @ClareONeilMP Nope. ALP supported the 2015 data retention legislation (why?) and have done nothing about the problem in the following 7 years Optus should carry some of it, but definitely not all

  • myBookCharlotte Charlotte (@myBookCharlotte) reported

@JakeMAustralia @Optus @RunnerSA18 Why is it borderline? They should be prosecuted. The problem is finding a government willing to do it.
