@russkeys Hi there - I'm so sorry about the longer wait times than usual! Due to the recent Optus Data Breach, we have a huge amount of calls coming in. You can always log into your internet banking and send ME a secure message if you need help with someone account specific - Izzy

@woopdedoo652 Hey @Optus , this poor wording looks a lot like typical scams. I mean, for a start it should be i.e. not e.g. secondly this implies you incorrectly recorded the ID number (rather than deliberate obfuscation/masking) wtf kind of village outfit is this?

  • turnip502 turnip50 (@turnip502) reported

@joshgnosis @PatsKarvelas HAHA, more stupidity; what do you expect if you leave a server 'open', without even passwords? The hacker should be appointed head of OPTUS IT; he is better than the fools and morons there. As ever with bad businesses the CEO and Board stay when they should be sacked.

  • Capt_kirk76 The_General (@Capt_kirk76) reported

I don't think Optus get it. If my credcard was breached, I'd cancel, get a new 1 & move on. If people have enough for 100 pts of ID (licence, Medicare) they can start new accounts and pretend to be me. That's much harder to control. Stop minimising the breach! #OptusDataBreach

  • DunnCaro2 Caro Dunn (@DunnCaro2) reported

@Capt_kirk76 #OptusDataBreach Former Optus customer. Finally got through to call centre in Philippines. Confirmed I am affected but now state there is no personal ID linked to account. So where did it go? Unable to inform me what is now happening with my personal information.

  • Farmer_Dave999 David Ward (@Farmer_Dave999) reported

@JasonofSyd @RavenZech2 Optus is a lot better than Telstra I've complained about service to both & Telstra is like talking to a brick wall, too thick to be able to get through #arrogant

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported

If @optus have ceased complying with Govt requests, Govt should consider amendments to either the Telecommunications Act or even the Corporations Act. Propose that Treasurer @JEChalmers be given powers to appoint emergency directors to Optus. TI #WhackThem

  • FMGee_ Joey (@FMGee_) reported

It's only a partial breach of your privacy, **** you, no refund - Optus

  • PeterRy38454279 Peter Ryan (@PeterRy38454279) reported

@joshgnosis Not OPTUS but stayed in Bowral for weekend. Hotel photocopied my driver's licence together with credit card. Is this legal? What if hotel has break-in? What recourse does the hotel patron have? Is it state or federal issue?

  • LindsWebb Lindsay Webb (@LindsWebb) reported

@tim_blackwell @Optus I did suggest the hacker fix the 4G Coverage whilst in there.
