-
Darwinb0y (he/him) (@darwinb0y) reported@mjrowland68 Can you please get the facts into the public domain? Optus created an open internet connection to their entire customer database. Didn't require user name or password. It's an absolute disaster.
-
Comrade popcat (@cardamonfives) reported@tanyavolt Shout all our next bills (though I'm going to switch from Optus, can't let this **** up slide)
-
Jesse Doops (@JesseDoops) reported@Optus Do you give terrible service coverage in general, and now the hack? Lmao, good one guys 👍🏻

Adam Pulford (@adampulford) reportedI was an Optus customer up until 2019 I think and I haven’t heard from them at all, so I’m unclear whether my data is involved or not. I’m feeling for the 10K people whose personal data has been released online. This is a huge huge mess and Optus needs to get its **** together
-
Kathryn Geels (@girlondon) reported from Brisbane, Queensland@alsotheabyss @LaurenBeldi I felt the same about filling out those forms even before the Optus incident. It really wasn’t very clear how they used the information, how they stored it and where, who had access to it, and how long they keep it.
-
Tommy from Sydney (@estjune83) reported@Debb_Richards @VictorDominello He's referring to Optus customers, but in fact you are a customer of Government services, so maybe be less glib and rude and more open to people getting better service from Government. Most people think Service NSW is the gold standard.

MrSmith2022 (@blue01dragonfly) reported10,000 Optus customer's details have been leaked online by the cyber criminal/s. Apparently, they will continue to post more every day. Passports, drivers licence, residential address... a serious worry!
-
Gumleaf of Finkum Dair™ (@GumLeafWhistler) reportedReading #OptusDataBreach emails, can't help being annoyed with the simple fact that getting access to data is one thing, while being useable is something else again. Optus messaging suggests there was no encryption applied to the personal data. We need to ask, why the hell not!?
-
Mick Pollard 🤠 (@aussielunix) reportedI was an @optus customer in 2018/2019 but have not received an email about the data leak. How am I to trust them that my data wasn't leaked ? I hope it makes its way into @haveibeenpwned

Miro Jurcevic (@mirojurcevic) reported@natecochrane Optus / Telstra / Vodafone dug their own graves when they demanded the NBN become a multi-technology network This will indirectly accelerate the demise of copper cable and oddball wireless systems in the big data cleanup Starlink is looking good.
