    @sassycarrie @louloulights @Optus Every time someone makes a complaint to the TIO (telecommunications industry ombudsman) it costs the telco money to defend it. I worked for a telco (internet help desk) briefly during the middle ages, and we were trained to avoid this happening at all costs.

    @relyimah @Optus Yep, it’s SO disappointing. Worst part is that I have no idea what trouble lies ahead, or when it’ll surface. During a 40 year career in banking I learned how important it is to safeguard personal information. Now this happens #optusfail

    So I’ve been affected by Optus’ data breach and I haven’t been a customer for so long! Argh apparently they’ve got my name, date of birth, email, phone number, address, and the numbers of my ID documents. Bit to be concerned about here 👍🏼

    @sortius The only problem I have is the breach goes back to 2017, which will cover a lot of past customers who are no longer with Optus. :/
