@Optus if losing our data isn't bad enough, it is impossible to get through to you as a client notified of the breach!

@MadsMelbourne @Optus Optus should tell customers what items of data they hold and assume that it has been stolen. Clogging the system with pointless requests for new passports and licences doesn't help those who need to change them.

Optus 🥺 "Other states, including Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales are all offering affected customers new licence numbers for free" Not WA, they can't do it, Tassie says it will cost you a visit to a service centre and $12... 🤬🤬🤬

@Optus suggests using @VicRoads website to submit a block on yr driving licence if it was in the data breach. Mmmm don’t think so…that’s how this trouble started in the first place. #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach

@CartwheelPrint @slsandpet interesting, when I had some identity theft issues with Optus 3 years back, told them to put Red Flag against any attempts to sell me accounts & phones, after that I got even more phone calls from Optus sales people, mostly from Philipines to ok new accounts,so much for red flags

@CattyVonCat @Breezybaby1811 @noplaceforsheep Sorry, I just realised yours wasn't the 17 years story. I'm assuming you've been a customer of Optus within the past 2 or 3 years then? Like I said, my understanding is that older customers did not have ID documents stolen.

Hey @Optus thanks a lot for leaking my personal data even though I haven't been a customer of your crappy service for over a year.
