    @Optus has transposed my number in their back systems making it impossible for me to receive my OTP. their suggestion? Travel kilometres out of my way to a store to fix a simple back office mistake. The number it should be is literally on my bill. #whatajoke

    @AussieJim11 @_davidlimbrick @pedroswift66 Yeah it's pretty obvious it is needed to be kept. Eg if the police contact optus for info on who owns a phone number that is committing a crime and optus can only tell them John Smith does, it doesn't help them at all.

  • ShaneBryan_IT Shane Bryan (@ShaneBryan_IT) reported

    @sickoslater Yep and now #Optus has invalidated the drivers licence & passport numbers of millions of Australians from being viable to use as ID. It’s a nuclear **** up beyond imagining.

  • iamraulmalate Raul Malate (@iamraulmalate) reported

    As a Optus mobile customer whose account is possibly hacked, I was advised by Optus to be vigilant because they failed to be!

  • sickoslater Sickoslater (@sickoslater) reported

    @Optus go **** yourselves, seriously

  • The9573rdGuy The 9573rd Guy maybe (@The9573rdGuy) reported

    And holy @Telstra have you thought that maybe a renamed piece of used toilet paper wouldn’t make a good router. The Smart Router 3 can’t hold a wifi 5 2.4ghz signal. Meaning no smart devices work. Do maybe @Optus would actually work.

  • Taraariana4 Taraariana (@Taraariana4) reported

    @Optus And you have the ***** to say that your service is still safe to use because no WiFi passwords were accessed?! Every other bit of personal info they have but thank christ the Optus WiFi is safe.

  • _ChungHui Chung Hui (@_ChungHui) reported

    @Optus given the high possibility of ID theft will you reimburse customers for the cost of having new passports and drivers licenses issued? Telling us you’re working with the AFP doesn’t help your customers if bad actors use the information you’ve lost to commit identity theft.

  • NathanWolfo Nathan Wolfo (@NathanWolfo) reported

    Bruh I actually feel for the people working in customer service at #Optus - must be getting so many irate callers...

  • HarriHooHoo Harri (@HarriHooHoo) reported

    @Optus .. got my email from you. No support offered - just a number to call. Crocodile tears from your CEO. Poor form.
