@jaimyn_m @RonniSalt So part of my email from Optus read: “Upon discovering the cyberattack, we immediately took action to shut it down to protect your information.” That’s like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted!

Hi @Optus your chat with us/message option on the website is buggy. It's not working. I can log into my account just fine, but the chat feature is not working. Is there another link I can use? Low on phone memory, I can't download the app yet.

@tobycmurray @Jeremy_Kirk Optus (complaints) staff advised me "because I was a former customer", expiry dates were not exposed (licence). That makes it seem like for current customers, it may be a different story...?

  • Rooandjoey Gaenor Dixon (@Rooandjoey) reported

@optus I have been waiting 140 minutes for service- what are your wait times? Any chance of some service so I can get on with my Saturday afternoon?

  • OriginTemplar Beans Games (@OriginTemplar) reported

@abcnews It would help if you had someone who could speak English and answer basic questions when you ring to find out what the hell is going on..! Still haven’t received formal notice of being affected even though told we have been… Optus continues to be a disgrace… Lost a customer.

  • AdeleTweets19 Adele (@AdeleTweets19) reported

@abcnews They need to communicate to each customer individually as to whether their information has been compromised, and if so, what information. Do better, @Optus!

  • PoppityPopsPup One blue dot is all we got. Let's get to work! (@PoppityPopsPup) reported

@redruby17 @Optus I tried signing in this am to msg and was about to put in the security code and before done, it opened up my account. WTF? So much for security!

Let’s not forget telecom companies do not NEED customer ID provided their bill gets paid. I promise phones really will function just fine without knowing customer passport numbers. No, the the only reason Optus record that info is so police can spy on Australians #OptusDataBreach

Hey @Optus is there a list that we can find out if my account has been compromised. Pretty concerned customer
