  @HappyNacho73 I've got two numbers and the Telstra one on e-sim was very loud compared to the Optus network one.

  @Cazzawhy @TigerAncient @SenSHenderson It’s also important that an opposition member of parliament can hold an MP accountable and be aware of lack of access to emergency services to the public in which they serve. Remembering what happened to Optus when people died as a result of losing the same access that was lost yesterday.

It appears that the screenshot shown captures a partially completed Speed Test for your connection to the Optus Mobile Network, as opposed to the same Wi-Fi connection as your TV. We would recommend connecting your phone to the same Wi-Fi connection and completing this again.   @borisstephens Firstly, taxes do not fund government spending, critical misconception the establishment perpetuates on purpose to justify austerity. Secondly, you're right to say that just throwing money at problems does not automatically fix anything. You still need competent management and a plan. All nationalisation does at a baseline is remove the profit motive that leads to cutting corners on network maintenance to save money, which is what leads in part to outages like this. And I haven't just proposed renationalisation, I've also proposed using Optus' satellite expertise to create a publicly-owned, privacy-first satellite internet network to challenge Starlink.

  @VoteLewko On my mates farm in the coast they have redundancy (Starlink) & anothet mate who runs ASIC’s infrastructure says they have always had both Telstra & Optus to try & avoid over reliance on a single network. So if farmers & some federal bureaucrats know this why don’t Victoria’s?🤡
