We're working hard to replace your driver licences following the Optus data breach. Thank you for your patience as we manage the unprecedented demand on our Customer Service Centres 💙

  • MajewskiSofia Sofia Majewski (@MajewskiSofia) reported

@ShiannonC @Macarpie And the gall of Linda Reynolds and Karen Andrews implying that Govt is flatfooted on the Optus breach issue. Such a pair of lightweight MPs

  • imsogrimX grïm (@imsogrimX) reported

So glad to see Optus fail they are a terrible company that can’t even provide reliable phone coverage

  • civilengineer civilengineer (@civilengineer) reported

@ned2au I searched my mail several times per day since receiving news that my & others' personal details have been hacked. Neither my own or my wife's inboxes have registered a letter of advice from Optus despite our several mobiles, fixed line & NBN connections. WTF? Who do I trust?

  • Fact_Oracle Fact Oracle (@Fact_Oracle) reported

@SkyNewsAust That’s interesting @sbxr…. You used to personally own an ISP (internet service provider) like Optus. How did you have any customers if you didn’t have their names, addresses & contact details? Given it’s your “mantra” why were you comfortable in taking those details? Hypocrite!

  • David12250816 David (@David12250816) reported

@mymateshouse Paul Fletcher was aware of user data breach not only by Optus but all Australia mobile network operators having call centres located overseas India and Philippines where user data easily accessed and bought. Paul Fletcher did nothing why??

  • kirdonnemo kirdonnemo (@kirdonnemo) reported

@Zadimum63 @hughriminton I canceled my optus account years ago after being lied to face to face in a store. Still worried they kept my data, & allowed it to be hacked, but I got no contact. For you, don't forget another telco can take over your number if optus refuse to help.

  • angel_Bling_11 aangel_351 🇦🇺🇭🇷 (@angel_Bling_11) reported

@hughriminton Can't get through on phones. DM them, was told to go to 24/7 chat. Waited 4.5 hours then lost connection & had to start again 2.5 hours wait then lost connection. @optus will be moving to another service.

  • ravirockks Ravi Nayyar (@ravirockks) reported

If these actions merely get up (ie before trials are done), @asicmedia must seriously consider going after the Optus Board. I say that because, even if the class actions are settled/decided in favour of Optus, the reputational damage already done would be more than terrible.

  • bmcevoy Ben McEvoy (@bmcevoy) reported

@SamTrevor380 @domknight @Optus They're required by law to store for up to 6 years after you stop being a customer, in the name of "national security"
