Wow! @Optus took this moment to increase my monthly internet bill with zero notice. And of course there's no one to talk to today and the messaging app doesnt work. Useless!!

@Optus Gov says Optus isn't cooperating with its response to customer data breach another reason that a class action must be taken to exit all contracts with Optus & go to another telco. The management & staff have failed their customers & won’t take responsibility a low act

@9NewsAUS I got an email saying “former customer” when I’m a current customer- Does @Optus actually know what data was taken?

Before I get @‘d: I’m not blaming data retention policy for the Optus breach. It certainly didn’t help the situation though.

@RowdyAndTed Oh I'm glad it worked for you! I'm a former customer so I can't login to my account to find what was compromised unfortunately. Medicare support are really good imo. Yeah I don't see any need for the passport might as well save yourself the hassle. Optus should tell us this

@9NewsAUS Why does everyone always want government to protect them from everything. 9/10 times private sectors **** all over government ones. Hence why you get paid more as an employee in the private sector. Optus has stuffed up bad. Let them fix it. Fine them if you have too. But stay out

@FranklyHart Optus is a telco that allowed hackers to potentially steal the id data of 10 million customers. About half the country. People are pissed that the company doesn’t seem to care - are obfuscating in terms of protecting the customer but seem to have the time to send their bills.

@RowdyAndTed There really isn't any point if card numbers weren't stolen. Like none at all. The public are being treated like they're stupid by the NSW government. It's really frustrating. Optus shouldn't pay for this, it endorses a false sense of security and is a total waste of plastic.

@macsween_prue @Optus Totally contradicted yourself in that in an earlier post it was Dan & Anastacia's fault. That said I do agree with you, Optus survives becz of its technology, so when their Cybersecurity is attacked that's a huge issue.
