@Biggy1883 Not "free", who's gonna fork out for the time involved? Optus pays for new D Lic, about $30. Already people fronting up at Inhumane Services were told to piss off, apply online.🤦 This **** storm has only just begun. Will Optus heads roll! Gladys? And if identities are stolen?

  • neilw101 Neil Wray (@neilw101) reported

@alifrance5 Optus should also bare all costs for any customer wanting to move to another carrier. What they have allowed is unforgivable.

  • BradDutchy Brad Holland (@BradDutchy) reported

@Rita_Saffioti That’s 💩 & doesn’t help people who were victims of breaches prior to Optus. Tad rich @MarkMcGowanMP to say that you weren’t aware of it until now. 4 yrs p eople have been unable to get the DL #s changed and have had to suffer in silence. Make it available to everyone 4 a fee.

  • 2112simmo Mario Simo (@2112simmo) reported

@crystals_crazy @ClareONeilMP @Optus Obviously the problem is identity theft... not someone stealing your card....

  • TorSamundsett Tor Samundsett (@TorSamundsett) reported

Seen a few tweeps asking why Optus had **** like Licence numbers. Cast your mind back to 2017 and the Metadata & Data retention laws & all of us in Cyber Sec shouting that it was a ******* bad idea. Anyway, we told you so.

  • PRGuy17 PRGuy (@PRGuy17) reported

Channel 9 Melbourne just reported the Optus data breach means anyone can be driving around on your licence, racking up driving offences, via a quote that was not corrected. That is false and Channel 9 should issue a correction if it is not attempting to create a panic. #auspol

@manukoreri @Wolf_Travels @AnnastaciaMP Just had the exact conversation with my mother who doesn't remember the email she had when she was with Optus. This is gonna be an issue with the oldies especially. 🤬 #OptusHack

  • VinceRugari Vince Rugari (@VinceRugari) reported

OPTUS SPOKESPERSON: And that's why we'll be putting the following measures in place to make sure a leak like this never happens again. ESSENDON FAN: Hirdy says hi 🙄 pathetic...

  • Millicente7 Millicente (@Millicente7) reported

Optus needs to pay for everything that was lost not the govt because the govt means taxpayers. Why would we pay for an Optus mistake and a big fat mistake that. If I were an affected Optus customer, I'd be seeing a lawyer.

  • glensavill glen savill (@glensavill) reported

Why am i not worried about the Optus hack ? Well i do not pay the bill with a credit or debit crad , I always insitst i recieve a paper bill via mail. I refuse to give any company my real email and use a second email account as a false one i never check or use Thanks google
