Sometimes I pity the AFP. Does it have any credibility at all? Some poor woman in uniform is explaining that the process of catching the Optus criminal will be long and slow because the perpetrator is using "obfuscation techniques". Obfuscation? The AFP is an expert in that.

@Optus #OptusHack This is a fail on so many levels. Can't login to any apps, called, told to cancel in store. In store told to call cancellations Cancelations hangs up anywhere from 23 minutes to an hour of being on hold

Day 13 of trying to get @optus to solve my issues. I’ve got the #TIO involved cause Optus refuse to take any responsibility. Can’t even receive calls in my house. Can’t get them outside either. Glad I spend money on this kind of service #optusfail

I never want to work in OpSec after seeing the Optus mistake. Knowing that could be me, a tired and overworked employee, making that same mistake.

@SenPaterson @Birmo The only person who should help with fresh passports is Optus and at their cost Mr Patterson! Don't try and drag the Govt into your snotty little game

Blaming a company for being hacked because their security was inadequate is like blaming a burglary victim for leaving the door unlocked. If Optus let down their customers, then the government let down Optus. The hackers are the real enemy, aren't they? #OptusDataBreach

AFP: "We are continuing to investigate the cause of the data breach" The investigation: "Hey Optus, did you happen to leave your whole customer database on the internet?"

@ServiceNSW @ellisoconnor Yes I am not stupid, thanks. I have read your information and note the difficult and lengthy process to replace my drivers license, then seek costs for replacement from Optus. This is a poor response and needs to be streamlined and made free to all those affected.
