    @amaysimAU @bencmorrison @Optus Thank you but without detail that's meaningless twaddle. I'm sure Optus would have said exactly the same King of thing the week before last. Meaning it is unfortunately not enough and you actually didn't answer whether your (& my) customer data has been compromised.

    Hey ahh @optus wtf ay, I expect compensation if this is how you plan to handle my data. Also when do you suppose you’ll contact customers and let us know our information has been hacked and we’re at risk of identity fraud, theft etc..

    @just_brash @ElaineM11584892 I'll never forget a nurse colleague coming to work upset by an optus bill charging the monthly rate plus an extra $1000 due to "excess usage" . We howled optus out on her behalf and they backed right off. A legal and public exposure. We nurses don't forget.

    We got our Optus notice today - must have been in the less risky basket, bc we never provided them with passport, DL etc (we signed up before ID verification was a requirement, waaaaay back in the early noughts). Apparently they got hubs' name, phone number, email & address.

    @kevcabana @kcarruthers @Narty007 There could be another slant on this...someone obviously wants to push Optus out of the competitive game...and I have never been an Optus customer or supporter so no vested interest for me in saying this...my point is I wonder at what is behind all of this?

    @ZucchiniBikini And not only that, I am feeling a bit violated too. Not sure if I should switch providers as protest, have been a loyal Optus customer for years.

    @HYP3RSTRIKE So what now? I feel like I used my passport to prove my identity initially. Is Optus going to pay the fee to issue me a new one?

    @ianbfarquhar An excellent question. I am no longer a customer and have been contacted by Optus saying my details were hacked. Why were these retained years after closing the account?
