@macsween_prue @Optus That govt (taxpayers) are being asked to fund the costs to customers is an outrage The issues at Optus where as a result of their own making off the back of concessions it is reported made by the previous govt minister in relation to cyber security

  • AnneHea20249812 Anne Healy (@AnneHea20249812) reported

@MichaelWestBiz It was always going to happen!!! I see the main issue here, apart from the actual cyber fraud itself, is the fact that Optus held on to all this personal information, including information pertaining to people who have left Optus, and NOBODY seeing this as a potential threat!!!!

  • MarcusMMcIntyre Marcus McIntyre ⏩ (@MarcusMMcIntyre) reported

Seriously @Optus How difficult is it to cancel accounts at the moment? #OptusHack #optusbreach #optus

  • James57498470 James (@James57498470) reported

@RowdyAndTed Oh I'm glad it worked for you! I'm a former customer so I can't login to my account to find what was compromised unfortunately. Medicare support are really good imo. Yeah I don't see any need for the passport might as well save yourself the hassle. Optus should tell us this

  • MGRANT65 Malcolm Grant (@MGRANT65) reported

@macsween_prue @Optus Hang on Prue You forgot to blame Albo or Dan

  • BlueEyedAuzzie Blue Eyed Lady 🌻💙💛🌻 (@BlueEyedAuzzie) reported

@Optus Absolutely loving all the spam emails I wake to each day.. penis enlargement. ******, crypto crap, and general spam. Such an amazing thing, NOT.. so freaking disappointed in you Optus. An Email telling me all my info was leaked is not good enough.

  • mrmadrigal1 mrmadrigal🐨💧🐀💉💉💉💉🇺🇦 (@mrmadrigal1) reported

@SquizzSTK The confidence and arrogance of the Optus board and management in full flight. They bleated to a former colleague, then minister, that security was too expensive, got an exemption. Now in this mess of their own making - they fail to cooperate

  • GothieBioVenom Gothie Biovenom 🦇💀🦇 (They/Them) (@GothieBioVenom) reported

Optus won't cover the tablet repair, can send it off for repair but can't tell me how much I'll be charged. Only other place has quoted $329 to fix it. Guess I'm living with a broken tablet screen because no ******* hope in hell I can pay even half that.

  • btcsparky Danooo (@btcsparky) reported

@9NewsAUS Why does everyone always want government to protect them from everything. 9/10 times private sectors **** all over government ones. Hence why you get paid more as an employee in the private sector. Optus has stuffed up bad. Let them fix it. Fine them if you have too. But stay out

  • Few2248E Frank E Willenberg (@Few2248E) reported

@macsween_prue @Optus Totally contradicted yourself in that in an earlier post it was Dan & Anastacia's fault. That said I do agree with you, Optus survives becz of its technology, so when their Cybersecurity is attacked that's a huge issue.
